Whao!!
What? So supporting Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike 1.6, Counter Strike: Source, and ALL (and I mean all, there was an update for HL2 last month) of their games periodically ,and free I might add, is underdelivering? Giving players new maps, content, contests, items, weapons and the like for zilch, nothing, zip. The same can't be said for many many devs that released games this gen.
Still, a Half Life would be nice. If not that then it might be a new Engine. Source2.0 may...
What?? My ping from a server 10 kilometers away is 14. That's 14 milliseconds for data to travel 10 kilometers and back. 20 milliseconds to travel 2 meters is not impressive.
.
Stupid people... America shouldn't even be in the world cup as they have a "soccer" team not a "football" team. FIFA = Fédération Internationale de Football Association
Emphasis on *football*
The implementation of 3D will be... interesting. It won't be the first game to use 3D but Sony is pushing the 3D revolution. 3D has been on PCs for a while but it hasn't quite been as popular and mainstream as a lot of people would like. But with uniform tech across all PS3 models 3D could be easier to circulate to the masses.
Guerilla Games has one hell of a franchise under their belt, I'm a PC guy and I absolutely loved Killzone 2. I'll be keeping an eye on...
If any developer has the skill to accomplish such a feat it would be Bioware. They are pretty much masters of WRPG and the RPG genre as a whole. With games like NVW, Mass Effect, Baldurs Gate, and many other top notch RPGs under their belt they are more than enough skill to create a masterpiece of a MMO. Blizzard set the bar pretty high for MMO games and for a 6 year old game it is still what other MMOs strive to be. I think SW: TOR will be the next big thing in MMO even though you hear that ...
I'm sure I have this for Gamecube.. wtf?? It was for Dreamcast..
[EDIT] nvm.. Code: Veronica X is probably the Gamecube port/remake. Correct me if I'm wrong..
Ha you are wrong my friend. I am proud to say that I can breath for twenty-four (yes, you read that right. twenty-freakin-four!) hours a day STRAIGHT.
Not his fault. The Tekken franchise went into a downward spiral after Tekken Tag imo. The games didn't feel new anymore, the graphics weren't living up to it's predecessors, not enough new content. I love fighting games and one of my favorite franchises is DOA. Tekken didn't quite excite me after Tag.
That mouse is really ugly, but for $45 bucks you're getting features that put it above the average mouse and with a reasonable price.
Yeah.. it's not like nVidia. THey're still manufacturing 200 series cards so why would they stop making their higher end stuff? It doesn't make sense.
HD standard.. lol And even then, a lot of console games can barely manage 720p and 30FPS without framerate hiccups.
lol Troll much.
I actually sort of liked the gritty, dirty look of Gears of War 2. It gave the game a darker feel and contributes to the mood, especially during those levels inside the Hive. The new engine seems to give the game a brighter look and the color palette is brighter. Maybe the story won't be so dark. Textures look improved, the second comparison really shows off the differences. The sand in the center of the first pic has little detail but then the sand in the...
Sorry.. but I'd take a G27 over motion control any day.
lol Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one.
*que the haters
You mean Wookies?
7 months later: still crappy.
No. Just no. It will go against the likes of LBP2, GT5, GOW3, Crysis2, DiabloIII, StarcraftII, all heavyweights vs a dying franchise. I don't see Black Ops as GOTY.
lol His best review was the Orange Box. The opening song said "It's all too beautiful" lol. Skip to the part where he reviews Portal. Classic.
