This is good news, since I am NOT buying the GOTY for a demo. Borderlands wasn't even that good. I don't even recall it getting any GOTY awards either..
lol This is very typical of Valve. They dropped Alien Swarm on a whim, became a hit with about zero advertising and people only knew about it week before it released.
I've been playing DotA for a long time and looking forward to a new DotA from Valve.
Nooooooo!!!! WC3's reign isn't over yet. The community is still strong and DotA is alive and kickin. I don't think Blizzard has been working on WC4, Starcraft 2 just finished up, Cataclysm is coming up, and D3 is still in development. Blizzard already has a lot on it's hands and I don't think WC4 is anywhere near the horizon.
The setting sounds fantastic. There have been too many "post-apocalyptic" games that have dark tones and darker textures, Fallout 3 is probably the epitome of this setting. Enslaved looks to break this chain. For me, setting is a big part of the immersion and enjoyment of a game.
Yeah he was totally badass in the comics and in the TV shows, especially in Batman: The Animated Series.
With Mr Freeze, this opens up more than just the bleak and dark streets of Gotham, a snow/ice level would be insane. Also with different environments lets Batman use more gadgets, hehehe.
lol BM:S has been in development for so long, they missed their 2009 launch and I'm thinking they won't hit the mark with 2010 either. Hopefully Source Engine 2.0 is around the corner. I really don't understand why people keep making PC vs console articles. All it shows is how much more powerful PCs are when it comes to graphics and how far console graphics are lagging behind.
The textures look horrendous on 360.
Both versions have horrendous screen tearing. I watched them both at the same time and every time there was screen tearing my eyes noticed immediately. Graphics wise they are both pretty equal, the 360 version looks a little darker but that's about it. I don't expect a multiplat to have major differences.
Anyways this game looks boring as hell, I lost all faith in MoH after Frontline on PS2, Airbourne was crap and very glitchy. Maybe this game will be different..

Admittedly the only great thing about ATI that I wish nVidia has is more than two DVI/HDMI ports to do triple monitor with one card. If I want to do three monitors I would need 2 cards, which I have but that's not the point.
Cryengine 3 looks really good, like what Panda said even the footage from the cam still shows how amazing it is. I don't recall any game with refections like that so far, especially dynamic reflections from a wet surface while in-game.
They did.. but it got canned, along with the developers. Some concept art for Battlefront III was pretty slick, too bad though since it was one of the best Shooters around.
Played the demo on Steam.. freaky as hell. I might get it if it goes on sale.
I personally don't care for either Xbox Achievements or PS Trophies. The problem with Achievements is that you get points per achievement, making people WANT to get more but also enticing them to achievement boost and play games just for points.Some games' achievements are ridiculous too. I remember my friend got King Kong just to boost up his score. It was pretty sad..
Trophies on the other hand are a little different. I haven't really had time with PS3 much sin...
ME2 Digital Deluxe is still $60 on Steam.
