lol Quagmire, I get the meme. Some people here don't..
Will that location have DRM?
60FPS is VERY important for a game like this. You will be moving around so fast and so much will be thrown at you at once that if the framerate hiccups then you're dead. Any gamer who plays racers/driving games knows that a solid framerate is important. One drop in FPS and you're in last place before you can blink.
Twisted Metal isn't "racing" but the same principle applies, the frame drops and you've been blown to shreds, especially in a game like ...
Isn't Shaun White a snowboarder?? I swear I have that one Wii balance board snowboarding game with "Shaun White" on the cover..
Anyways I don't see much of anything interesting in these screens. Skate has been the best skating game since Pro Skater 2 for me.
I can pick up my PC, open the case, inspect it, and move it around while playing a disk.
This is pathetic actually.. 5 years into the generation and MS still hasn't learned from mistakes.
The screens aren't small. You can get a bigger image if you click the link in the bottom right corner of each comparison.
Anyways, Driver has a ridiculous amount of jaggies. Weird they used 2 of the same screens for Need for Speed though.
Wow.. I don't think there's a bigger douchebag in the game industry.
Well apart from Dragon Rising, Codemasters makes some pretty good games. Their racing games are amazing. TOCA, Grid and Dirt were awesome. Especially TOCA RD3. Dirt 2 was great but not as fun as the first one but had amazing visuals on my PC. Grid was one of the first to get cockpit view playable and enjoyable. I played the whole game in cockpit view with all the HUD turned off.
Well some devs weren't very impressed..
Yah I'd "gorilla pose" her for sure.
lol Better prepare. *Disagree shield deploy*
I think it looks fine, KZ3 and Crysis have 2 different art styles. Crysis is more photorealistic but Killzone is more dark and gloomy art with the dark palette and dash of orange, red, yellow. Either way both games look great.
These screens are in really low res and really small though.. doesn't do the game justice. Plus a lot of these we've already seen before.
I have played it on PC. And I have it on 360. I'm just saying GTAIV for PC was poorly optimized for PC. At that time I was running an Athlon 64 X2, 2G DDR3, and 9800GT SLI and my machine was chugging along slowly at 30FPS. Of course it has better textures and higher resolution but that's a given for multiplats. I'm sayig that GTAIV could have been optimized a little better without using up so many resources for a game that doesn't even look nice to begin with.

I'd rather not have a Red Dead port if Rockstar are just going to do a half arsed job with it like GTAIV.
You don't need an Unlimited plan to enjoy the iPhone. I myself didn't have unlimited until just recently and my iPhone still rocks. It's good for long taxi rides, you don't need 3G or wireless to play most games and use most apps. If you aren't much of a phone person than the regular plans will do just fine since you don't talk or text as much as a rabbid teenager.
Fuckin rainbows!!!
I have no doubts that it will be awesome. On PS3, 360 and PC. But I will play it on my PC. Quad core, 4GB DDR3, and a 1GB graphics card. More than overkill to put any console game to shame. If Crytek can work it's wonders on the consoles then I believe that Crysis 2 can be one of the best looking games on consoles, but it would have to compare to heavyweights like Killzone 3, Uncharted 2, Gears of War 2, and Modern Warfare 2 (for consoles it was good, for PC it was crap so I give props fo...
@ lamback
From from generic. It's actually quite nice. The glow looks really nice on a dark background and gives the impression that you're isolated and the only thing lit or visible is the glow. Which is the theme of Dead Space anywho, Isaac is alone.
Oh wow, I hope you are being sarcastic..
lol Dude you are funny. No sarcasm btw.. your comments are awesome.
