I don't think the gaming industry would be where it is without id's contribution and to an extent, Valve. id pioneered FPS and Valve refined it, impacting other genres as well in terms of game design.

Meh.. I've had my run with a dual GPU setup. Not my cup of tea. I'd rather get the best single card solution I can and then just upgrade to the next gen when it releases.

2. I have multiple controllers that I use. The 360 controllers works with about any game now. A lot of games now support controllers, and if not then again, there are cracks.
3. Lrn2controlpanel. Exit all applications.. better yet get a program to auto-detect games and have unnecessary background apps closed.
4. Why have just one when you can have multiple and be in contact with all your friends? Steam is a big community. X-Fire lets you do cross game ch...

Pretty much sums it up. No lack of quality exclusives and multiplats. Have a console for the few console exclusives that would actually be enjoyable (Mario Kart) and a PC to play PC exclusives and have the best experience with multiplats. There is no reason at all to not want a gaming PC. Money isn't an issue as a $500 PC will play every game at high settings now. The cost of PC gaming is also much much lower, with games usually around $50 at launch and dropping or having sales within 2-3...

Alchemist is my favorite. Minion master + warrior = win. Forget the staffs, two-hand swords that do 800 DPS and have minions fight for you.
