Many will have played it, and those who haven't will likely look it up and even buy it to determine their interest in the sequel. I'm actually looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima, but not enough has been shown for me to pass any judgment on how good it'll be. However, I'd say that me having watched the gameplay/trailers makes me vastly more educated on what the game could be like than someone who hasn't. First off you used 2 sequels to try and disprove my point. This is a new IP from a studio with no record it, so that doesn't work. Don't come back to me by saying they have experience at different studios because that doesn't mean the new studio will create something of a similar caliber to their previous works, as that is exactly what happened in the case of Death Stranding.

Going to be honest here, I'm sure many would praise you for doing that. However, you're basically bragging about making a purchase without properly educating yourself. This sort of approach in mass would result in millions of sales for games like Anthem.

It's not inherently bad or good. It's all about whether the writer effectively utilizes the trope. I've played many games where I've wanted the main character to shut up. Doesn't mean vocal characters ruin good games.

If anyone honestly didn't find out that the Blood Moon respawns enemies with the same weapon everytime, and didn't then fast travel to farm for weapons they like, then I'm questioning how I can take any of their analysis regarding this game seriously.

90% of my multiplats are bought for PC, so I never have this issue. But if you believe new gamers should be required to purchase multiple predecessors in the PlayStation system family to play old games then, quite frankly, I think you don't care about the preservation of the art form.
Because streaming currently provides a vastly inferior experience to running the game natively.

I think the difference is the hype for Death Stranding. Let's just acknowledge that Death Stranding was being marked as a GOTY contender, and to be a masterpiece. Denying that Is being wilfully ignorant of the discussion threads on this site, and many others for the game. With that context, Death Stranding has hit well below expectations of it's own fans in terms of critical reception.

No. It's unreliable on literally every game being reviewed there in regard to user reviews. Doesn't matter what the game is; there is no requirement to show the user completed the game.
Such as? I can name a fair few highly rated games that had similar flaws, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you've got something more nuanced.
