I guess since the 3DS proved them wrong and they are getting tired of the Vita. Everyone is staring to take aim at the Wii U now. Can't we give these consoles a year or so before we judge them with all these doom and gloom articles?
MicroSoNin and their PlayWiiBox
Atlus take my cold hard earned money now! I'll pre-order it even if its years away!~
The problem is there are still Japanese games being made for the PSP and what makes the matters worse these games aren't getting localized and not being advertised as PSV compatible.
Even if these games aren't blockbuster hits they are still software you can play on the device that could entice a lot of gamers who has a PSP to upgrade.
Since this is not happening as of now, you will get a lot of 3rd party developers to hesitate and will continue to ma...
I probably believe Sony will try to ride out the $249 price till the holidays and let the retailers do the deals but at least add the 4GB memory for free on every purchase.
It may not be much but its a start.
Enslave was okay.
Darksiders was just not my cup of tea.
Sins & Punishment I missed :/
Alan Wake was okay (I'm a chicken for horror games)
Xenoblade was fantastic
I would mention Valkyria Chronicles though
Why am I not surprise to see another article like this -_-
Give the console a chance to launch first then a year to judge it. I think that's the fair thing to do.
Weird title, when all the examples given applies to all consoles. :/
Localization of Valkyria Chronicles 3.
The revival of Sakura Taisen, Panzer Dragoon and Skies of Arcadia.
The announcement of Shenmue 3.
I wish Sega would make it so! *_*
All I can say is, never underestimate the Big N.
Sad to say but they can still find things to disagree on base on those 5 examples.
Not having 3D at launch is not a game breaker. Its the games that will come out that is important.
Well at least its a positive article unlike what I've been mostly seeing from a Vita or Wii U articles.
I think the anti-fanboys your mentioning are closet fanboys. They just don't want to admit it or they know they are and are just acting like they're not, just to spite the opposition.
Fanboys are in truth, a minority in the gaming community but because they are the most out-spoken they can overtake most discussions and turn it into a flame war.
Respect is easily replaced by biased, hateful, illogical comments and they will do it without shame or remorse.
The saddest part about this is our so-called gaming journalists feeds off this kind of hate just to get more hits.
This happened to HD gaming before, it took time and a gaming generation before it really got going. Not because no one wants to adopt it but because its pretty expensive in its early life cycle.
3D is in the same boat right now, consumers have an appetite for something different but also can wait awhile till the prices and usage becomes more practical.
I can't wait for this game to get localized (I hope)
There is so much doom and gloom these days that its just sad. Its like these so-called journalist wants the gaming industry to fail. Isn't useless fanboy negative comments and rage enough?
I hope the Vita proves all its detractors wrong in the long run.
Not sure if it was a great game but I found it to be entertaining though. Not story wise but silly wise ^^
Wow did Kotaku just say there was not enough doom and gloom articles against the PS Vita? I wonder if they still consider themselves gaming journalist by not doing actual research anymore?
