Ugh! the tutorial... It was so spread out between chapters by the time you get the feel for the game your already half way through it. The battle system itself isn't hard to understand.
Speaking of the rating system. If you upgrade your weapons too much or made a mistake with the catalog those can ruin your chances on the rare drops too, which sadly like you said the tutorial wasn't exactly helpful either.
I've played other JRPGs that incorporated...
I can respect the battle system.
I can try to understand the story.
I can do with the linearity of the game.
But what I can not comprehend is the economy of the game.
Why the heck did they decide that you need to have a 5 star rating (in battle) in order to have a chance to get a random rare drop that is crucial in the upgrading your equipment?
This is the first FF that I played where I actually felt poor because the monsters ...

I would love nothing more than both dedicated handheld devices to succeed and coexist because that will stop all the detractors from claiming the market is dead.
Why are people above the demographic of gaming are asked if they want to buy a gaming device? I mean seriously people that are in their 40's and 50's made up like 45% of that survey... they're like the people who are most likely to buy gaming devices for their families and not themselves...
To anyone who hasn't played this game, we recommend that you do. This game will NOT disappoint!
One of the best JRPGs ever~
I'm not sure how MGS:R is going to fail? But what I know is a lot of MGS fans (including me) wanted to know how Raiden became a cyborg (Yes, a prequel) and some wanted to play Raiden like how he moved in MGS4.
So from what I can see Kojima just did what the fans wanted and I consider the guy one of the gaming gods in Japan, so far his games hasn't disappointed me.
Besides its Raiden we didn't liked the guy when we played him the same way as we did...
Definitely Yakuza 1 & 2!
Level-5 do not let me repeat myself BUT I WILL!
You will be taking my cold hard earned cash with this game~! :D

I know 3D is considered a gimmick right now but imagine Kinect + 3D gaming.
I think that would be the closest thing we can get right now to what Robert Downey Jr was doing in Iron Man. :)
Sadly the last Tales spin-off that Bamco released was Tales of Mythology 1 and that was a good RPG for the PSP too.
I'm putting my hopes up that Bamco gives us Xillia (PS3) and Innocence R (PSV) in the future.
That is what my understanding is as well 2 PS3 and 2 PSP but KUV1977 does raise a valid question because Sony is saying this is by PSN account and if we can share accounts between PS3, PSP and PSV would that count as 1 each as activated?
Meaning we will only have a reality of 2 between all systems than 2 on consoles and 2 on handhelds.
I think we better start sending Sony some emails to clarify this. If its 2 PS3 and 2 handheld then its more of an inconvenien...
I'm not really sure if Howard Stringer knows what he's doing. Its like Sony has never been in the black after he took over and he was suppose to carry the company out of the red.
I hope Hirai will be different. Its clear that he's the next guy in line to lead Sony and I hope he does a better job in restructuring Sony than Stringer did.
To clarify you can have 2 PS3 and 2 PSP (PSV?) account activated at the same time to share your contents with.
Now from what I understood. If you want to share with another PS3 for instance. You simply need to deactivate 1 PS3 and add the new one to the shared PSN account.
This also does not stop you from reactivating a PS3 to share with again.
This is more of an inconvenience than anything else.
@KUV1977
Ye...
If that's the case then I guess this is more of an inconvenience then anything else.
Not sure why we got disagrees on asking and clarifying a valid point though. lol!
@kasasensei
Read our post above or click the SCEE Blog link instead.
So we ended up with 2 activated PS3 and 2 activated PSP (or PSV?) systems to share our game contents with.
If I understood this correctly I can deactivate 1 system and active 1 system and have the new system share the content but what I would like to know is if I can add a re-activated system again to share game contents with?
Boobs! Okay that sounded so wrong when its about a game character we are talking about. lol!
Because your not picking it up right away bro, its your fault. lol!
Sorry I couldn't help it XD
Oh! That's good to know, as long as the game doesn't force me to play the MP to get the best ending in SP then we're good to go.
