So the median just from a little snippet on this site is a 7.8 from 5 sites. Not to shabby. I will probably pass and wait for Uncharted or No Mans Sky but it's nice to see people enjoying the game regardless of review scores.
Is Xbox still a platform. I though they shut down all there studios and went into pc gaming last week.
Yeah probably not a good sign.. I mean, It's not 8 studios shut down in 1 day bad but.. still somewhat bad I guess.
I think the industry has changed a bunch since the last time this came up. With Sony at the helm they really have no reason to with the user base they have already. Plus saying no for them will only broaden their Exclusivity. It's Microsoft who wants Sonys players on there network now as it's not selling that great. It's a great way to put the ball in their court but Sony won't bite. To smart for that.
Why does this just seem to me like a PR stunt to be like "hey, We are now an open online platform and are ready to accept competitors" and if they don't accept it sheds a bad light on them.
This would also lure people from one platform to the other if they configure some kinda benefits on either side.

The Last Of Us 2 is already in Production.. If Nathan Dies in Uncharted 4 they could create a new I.P with that team and maybe comeback to uncharted later.

Exactly, If Microsoft is so right.. Please explain to me their abysmal sales and lack off. It's thoughts like this that didn't match up with the users of their products which in turn lost them a large percentage of market share.

I have no issues running MVK files on my PS4. I'm not sure what DLNA media server you are using but you might want to look into what types of MVK's the PS4 can play and set a profile to trans-code on the fly to the PS4. The amount of codecs for video and audio these days mixed with combinations and technologies are endless. You can't have it all unfortunately, and please spare me the PC can do everything, I work in I.T and I can assure you it can't.

I wouldn't say they are doing good. I would say Microsoft is doing good. The Xbox division is trimming down due to lower performance sales.. You also have that option. I prefer playing games on PlayStation 4 even though I have 2 gaming pc's. Just chilling on the couch don't have to really configure much. Native hardware. Easy to pickup and go, Suspend mode. Just a better overall experience when I want to get in an hour or two of game play in my opinion. But to each their own.
No mans sky seems like it will be a pretty cool game. I don't really have doubts about it. I expect to explore and such. All games get boring after a while so I would expect that to happen as well until new content comes along.
That said it sounds like you are having fun with the game and that's cool.. 8.2 on meta critic is a good score.
