Very very true. I think a lot of it is jealousy as well. They chalk up Xbox likes it's god because they recently got BC which most of them won't use often but act likes it's revolutionary.
I think it's because they rely mostly on E3 for their announcement so they are starved after the xmas rush and then have to wait until E3 the next year.
My guess is that they are testing this model out so nothing is set in stone yet.
Just go down to the I.P store and take out an I.P.
I think many also know that it isn't a Sony IP
I don't think it's a deep mystery really. He might just see it as simple as a symbol of PlayStation. It was almost a mascot figure in terms of the PS1 era. Either that or he just likes crash.
"these mediocre conferences"
- One lack luster conference.
"Sony doesn't care, their hardcores don't care, so the system will still sell"
- The hardcore already have the system so it's selling to new people.. not a second console for the hardcores
"I heard they put more R&D into this than the PS4 so if this flops this a major major financial hit"

LOL "this guy" ha ha.. Comment lost all relevance once I read this guy.
For me PSX actually got me more intrigued into VR. Was the show lack luster.. I think so yes when you compare it to the previous PSX but i'm happy that we are getting all that was show. VR is definitely are hard sell since you need to be wearing it.
I think all of us who own playstations knew we would see an article like this from a website no one has ever heard which is clearly an opinion peace and pulls the idea that PSX hurt VR from 2 comments. It's pretty common p...
It's meant to bring just the Playstation community together and shu specifically said there intention for it is for smaller game announcements for those developers to get some spotlight instead of getting swept under the rug at PSX.
It's a smart move as smaller devs might start waiting for PSX instead of presenting at E3 which will make it a great show some years. Other years maybe not so much. Never the less it might end up taking out clutter from E3 as well.
It could be worse. We could be depending on things like Cloud Power or API's that will never pan out or some magical secret sauce.
I mean it makes sense to think there will be another god of war sometime in the future and with Rockstar renewing it's patents on the Agent here and there it's a bit conspicuous. It's also hard to see into the future without a time machine so speculation is the tool you have to use.
Looking back after having some time to digest, I would say it was good. It did feel a bit lack luster compared to last PSX, but not everything can be a home run. One thing that blew my mind was how far in development FF7 is. They clearly have had it up and running for awhile now. I'd say it's at least been in development for 2 years. Ni Nu kuni 2 was also a pleasant surprise. Makes me want to go back and play the first one.
It's nice that they addressed the show ...
BC scratches my nostalgia itch but I feel this is more of reactionary move from Sony to cover their bases and would prefer they use the resources else where. As much as I enjoy reliving Final Fantasy Tactics among-st other games once or twice a year I found I bought a new console to play new games and my PS3 collects the majority of dust around my place so like an ex girlfriend it's nice to turn on once in a blue.. But not needed.
That said. Good on Microsoft for capitali...
NDP is not Worldwide sales. It's North American Only.
He could be right but with PS experience coming up and exclusives rolling out till summer.. I have a feeling it will be short lived.. and obviously not happening worldwide.
I don't think that's true. If you look at statistics, There is a good chance every third person you ask will pick the Xbox as are the odd's worldwide. The system is less powerful overall but I don't think it's garbage by any means. I don't own one. I own a PS4 but given if they were giving them away I'd take an Xbox One.. or an extra PS4 for my Bedroom :P
I didn't even know this was a thing.
Update: This is so intense.
@kraenk12
12.5 percent in theory. it's a nice little chunk to add to the system. Should help make things more peppy.
@meche334
Staticlly assigned, which means the footprint of resources need for the OS/PartyChat etc has be shrunk to just be used for 1 core. Memory is very dynamic in these terms they have 1 core that is staticlly set for the OS footprint. Developers can now use 7 freely without having to worry about dynamic memory thresholds switching or ge...
Outage for me was 2 hours.. Didn't really seem like a big deal. Sure it was longer for hours but yeah, Wasn't really a big deal.
That said..
Sony won the total sales for Black Friday which is a win period. Even if they lost by 4% among Middle Aged 34 - 50, they won by 16% among Millennials 18 - 33.
The is classic spin but to each their own. I can always tell if it's going to be an article from a site I have never heard of by th...
I did the same thing on day 1. Took out the factory HDD and slapped in a 1TB SSHD. Installed the firmware from USB and have never had issues since. Highly recommend SSHD's.
It was a bit lack luster but I still enjoyed it. I would rather have what was shown coming soon and in the near future then nothing at all. Ni No Kuni was an amazing game on PS3 so that announcement for me was heaven considering the hours I sank into it. FF7, Fat Princess, Sparrow racing, FF7 Pc port. and seeing uncharted again were all highlights for me.
On the VR side I was pulled in by AC7 and Eagle Flight.
Third party I would say Primal was my favorite ...
