If Sony hasn't entered production they could push scorpion back 4 months and add the extra beef, It would just be some renegotiations with their chip manufactures. Even 8 months would still put them way ahead of a 2017 Winter release. Will see I guess. Sony has changed specs before months prior to release, It wouldn't surprise me this is why they are not showing at E3. I'm assuming Neo was pushed.

Couldn't agree more. I have a pc for pc gaming. I really don't want Sony to start meshing with PC. It takes away from the experience.
This is incorrect. Cheaper to produce but more costly for yields as the yield percentage per processor goes down which in turn trumps production cost. The main reason companies move to smaller Nm Processor is heat. In turn they can shrink the product and it will typically last longer without being exposed to higher temps.
By next year this product will drop price as well but even still, I couldn't see a 399.99 price point. It's just to low

Consoles use hypervisor to code to the metal or "virtualize" while pc's use os's. While consoles share processing cores architecturally which to u dictates what you code on the hardware side their chips are usually customized to gain more bandwidth and draw call i/o to and from the cpu'...

What you just presented is a fallacy and incorrect. More money doesn't dictate their domination in the field where they do compete which is what we are talking about "video games". Microsoft has more money as a business which comes from fields they don't compete in and still doesn't dominate Sony in the video game field which is the only field they compete in.

@candystop Microsoft dominates in the operating system and Commercial computer technologies space (Server side software, Client side software) but Sony beats them in hardware (Mobile, Tvs, Motion Picture, Gaming etc). The only space they compete in Sony has beat them in terms of sales every time. So lets not belittle it either.

How? Even when Sony's consoles have had less spec they have always sold more console than Microsoft every cycle. The PS2 was inferior to the Og Xbox and still slayed it and the PS3 had less cores and less memory and still managed to outsell xbox year after year.. and with the PS4 its just no contest.

It's a great way to spin getting your ass kicked really badly early on in a cycle. If they wan't to bring over their exclusives to PC's that's fine but you are really just taking away from your console sales as most people will probably buy these on PC's instead.
