...it took me all of 5 minutes to hook-up and configure my wireless adapter, and I was back on LIVE.
...is Famitsu reviewing Madden '07.....for the 360, nonetheless. If ONE COPY of Madden has been sold in Japan....particularly for the 360...I'd be SHOCKED. 0_o
Motorstorm (PS3) - 8,8,8,6
Evangelion (PS2) - 7,6,7,6
Mana 4 (PS2) - 7,8,8,7
Madden (360) - 7,8,7,5
...but the BC list only gets updated bi-annually; expect the next one around June '07.
This is GOOD news, for gamers anyway. I hope to hell more developers stop being lazy, and take the same action with the PS2. That POS console has been dragging down the overall quality of games for 6 years now, and is even effecting most cross-gen multiplatform games today.
...but it IS a fantasy RPG.
It will be the first of it's kind, to offer online battles (without being an MMO), and it will have more traditional classes/creatures, based off of the D&D world (unofficially, of course).
Blue Dragon is in full 1080p, and has a lot of pre-rendered, in-engine footage....they just used 3 discs. There simply isn't a need for Blu-Ray, this generation; the quicker people get used to that fact, the quicker they'll understand what Sony's TRUE agenda is with PS3.
This game must be much further along than I though, if they're already showing retail packaging and such. ???
Cool....I just finished Knights of the Nine on Oblivion last night, so I have this to look forward to. :)
Read my above post. :o
Their official website, which I've had bookmarked for almost 2 YEARS now, has NEVER mentioned another platform, other than the PS3. Although, their official announcement didn't come until about a year ago ; Sony latched onto this company, as soon as they saw it's RTE1080 engine in action.
The early "footage" looked amazing, as usual, but the E3 '06 footage looked like standard UE3 quality stuff, that we're seeing in A LOT of 360 games. It won't be anything truly special, b...
A mass-distributed software update WOULD not, COULD not only affect a small % of consoles. Simply put, if there's a bug in the software, it will affect ALL of the consoles, as they all share the same components. There is a VERY high likelyhood, that many of these machines were already having issues, or were defective...or they were modded in some way. This lawsuit will be very bad press for MS; perhaps it will force them to take a more proactive approach to solving such customer service i...
...next year. ;) They apparently don't know the U.S. seasons very well in Japan ; Nov-Feb is the same "winter". :o
...I think you forgot to put "Lost Planet" in the title. ;)
I stood in line for 14 hrs for that $300 POS2....and I NEVER got my money's worth. Fastforward to 2005, and Sony is right back to the same tactics...but I'm not falling for it THIS time. "A lot of people" say/do a lot of stupid sh1t, but that doesn't make it right. The fact is, this game is largely underwhelming, and could EASILY be done on the 360...and likely WILL be.
...and talking out of your ass.
The "bottom line" is, I've been "playing b3yond" since Nov 22nd 2005...the PS3 has NOTHING to offer, that I can't/haven't already done.
The PS2 could NEVER pull off anything CLOSE to that. The XBOX could, but it would've only run at like 15 FPS, at best, and the car models wouldn't have been quite as detailed.
The fact still remains, that this game is NOTHING like the target render, and is NOT something that shows any superior power from the PS3.
Seriously, I've heard that argument for every demo ever released, and it NEVER holds up. The game was 90% done when they released that demo; if you think they've made drastic changes to it, in terms of physics, textures, mechanics, etc, you're sadly mistaken.
...and I was not impressed. It looks NOTHING like the E3 '05 target footage. It's DEFINITELY not anything innovative, or a game that shows "the awesome power of the PS3". It could be easily done on the 360 (and if they don't sell enough PS3's for the game to sell well, it likely WILL be).
They have a slow month for news, so they repeat the same sh1t for the 50th time about how MS is fairing in Japan. However, they do so, right as Japan is starting to show interest in the 360, because of Blue Dragon and Lost Planet. If at the end Feb. '07, MS still hasn't sold 200k units in Japan, then this might be news....but it's pointless right now.
...because it's THE OFFICIAL XBOX MAGAZINE. Their staff is just retarded...they couldn't review a f*cking game of solitaire. :o
Thats a lot of BUGS! 0_o I'm about 30% done with the SP, with no problems AT ALL; thankfully, I haven't tried the MP yet.
This is easily one of the best games on the 360....waaaaay better than GRAW and SC:DA ; I'm glad Ubi is working hard to make the overall experience the best it can be.
