Since the PS1, TOCA has been the king of REAL racing, and looks to continue that trend this gen. GT5 is pretty, Forza 2 is the best sim, and PGR4 is a fun arcade racer....but TOCA 4/GRID has it all, and THEN some.
Perhaps your transition to Atari has been so rough, that you've dropped out of the gaming loop altogether. BK3 is being dev'd by the original team behind the original games. The group that splintered off and formed Free Radical, had NOTHING to do with the BK games.
The 140% jump, STILL barely brought PS3 sales ahead of the 360. Prior to the price cut, the PS3 was dead in the water. With the new price cut, the 360 will easily pull back ahead, since it was only lagging behind about 40k/month anyway.
...at least, not for long. ;)

I see a lot of Sony fanboys screaming the same thing...how "this is Sony's year" and "the PS3 will win 2008, and beyond", blah, blah, blah. Well, all I can tell you is this: If PS2 owners have been waiting to buy a PS3 for MGS4, GTAIV, GT5...they better sell about 50 million PS3s this year, or their ship is sunk. Ya dig?

Basically, when someone joins your game, they are in "your world", and only there to help with combat. Any loot gets split between you...I think you decide how it gets divided. You can't do anything story or commerce related, if you join someone else's game. Hope that clears things up for you. :)

That is very impressive...GT5P just barely lacks the color saturation of "real life", everything else is damn close. By the time I finally pick up a PS3 (this X-mas ??), maybe PD will have confirmed full damage modelling for GT5.
...if there's an allowance for an exploding battery as well? :)
