Video games are about sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying a fantasy world, whatever that world is on whatever console. Agreed. Phil already hinted at that as well previously. I know it's the one thing we hate having to do, but we'll probably be waiting a bit longer before we see some actual games come out. Can't even remember the last time I went this long (almost 2 years now) without having a current gen console in the house. Waiting to see what Scorpio has to offer and if whether or not some new games are mentioned at E3 (or at the very least a direction of where the Xbox is going.)
Agreed however with phones you can buy one that came out 2-3 years ago and use it indefinitely for the next 3-4 years easily without feeling left behind. I just bought the Nexus 6P as an example which came out in 2015 if I remember correctly, still gets "updates, and new content" if you will, runs just as fast as any phone out currently.

And yes, clearly the PS4 intimidated me so much I had to sell it because I couldn't handle it. The fact that it has no games, was louder then my 360, and served more as a Netflix box are completely irrelevant.
Just like Sony had it's slow period between 2013-2015 Xbox is clearly going through the same phase.
However It's been said time and again that alot of internal shuffling went around after Mattrick was given the boot and Spencer took over.
Spencer himself has also commented on players concerns over the lack of 1st party titles and that he's reworking the first party scene.

DLC has sucked for the last 10 years. Not in terms of DLC as a concept but just the fact how some developers are heavily abusing the system and making things that are expected to be in game go behind a pay wall instead.
I say 10 years because it was around that time when DLC started coming out that had noticeably less value then the cost associated with it. DLC addons that add 20+ hours of gameplay are few and far in between. I'll pay for DLC if the value is there.

I'd hazard throwing in the Resistance series, God of War Ascension, and while KZ2-3's storyline was poor (imo), the graphics and gameplay were a blast. Oh and Heavenly Sword too!

Agreed, I suggested this a while back too. It seems Treyarch should make the futuristic titles seeing how Black OPs is decent, IW should go back to the MW series because that's what they were best at, and while Sledgehammer is still new, a WW2 shooter or anything not considered modern should be what they do.
