F2P like STWOR F2P (which really isn't that free lol)?
Do we still have to buy the base game? Is it going to be plagued by micro transactions?
I read the article, and unless I missed it, these questions weren't really answered.
Not trying to troll here, but you should pick up BF3 for cheap and/or preorder BF4. Practically every suggestion you had is already in BF3, I picked it up for cheap for PC off of Origins for $10 last week, and after playing MP pretty thoroughly, it'll be really hard to go back to COD at all unless they pull out some major changes.
That being said, I'll still reserve judgement for COD: Ghosts until I see the actual game.

As a past 360 owner for 5+ years, and now a heavily disappointed customer with MS (I have all the Halos, Gears, Fable, etc.), they're going to have to pull off something special to earn my attention.
The current lack of exclusives (I don't consider Kinect gaming), the ridiculous P2P fee for Xbox Live (honestly, its only one up over PSN is Party Chat), and the fact that it feels like MS essentially gave its hardcore fan base a giant F-U has me at an all time low.
As much as I hate on COD, if a new engine (and not just a modified version of the COD 2 engine) is actually being used, I'm definitely curious to see what they have planned, if they're going to change up any game play elements and actually give us a visually appealing looking game (not that COD is ugly, but after MW1 the graphics were heavily outdated). I shall reserve my judgement until I actually see the game, but I'm not going to lie, I think its outright ridiculous that you ca...
Very true, but the problem is both companies are using the exact same COD 2 engine to make their games. So in essence, they're all the same games with different colors, weapon skins, and enemies, etc.
I would say the majority of fans stopped caring after the first Modern Warfare, back when Infinity Ward actually knew how to make a proper shooter. In all fairness, I enjoyed the single player campaigns of all three MW games, but after MW1, the multiplayer was beyond retarded.
The rest of the "fan" base are all the incredibly annoying 12 year olds who bitch with words they shouldn't even know about yet.
I may not fully agree with some of dcbronco's views, but he does have a couple good points, especially about the PS4 and 720 and the articles that appeal to fanboys in general. I owned a 360 first since 2007, and then just this boxing day that passed 5 months ago, i bought a PS3 for dirt cheap. Since then, I've cancelled Xbox Live Gold and played the many exclusives and watched blue rays on the PS3. This doesn't mean I hate MS and Xbox completely, it was simply a good change from ...
"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
---Pretty much sums up what I think of your post.
Not trying to defend EA here, but alot of people are saying flat out "EA's a horrible company," Care to give out any factual reasons as to why they remain the worst? Once again, NOT trying to defend EA, I'm simply wondering WHAT about them that makes them so bad.
The only thing I really can't stand about them is the fact that they love using Micro-transactions and despite my personal hate towards that concept, it appears more and more people don't m...
It's confirmed! Definitely curious as to what they have planned, should be a good show.

For an MMO the graphics actually look pretty decent. If you want to see some true footage, search up "The Elder Scrolls Online Pax," should be one of the very first vids to pop up, looks pretty damn nice.
Definition of Touche:used to acknowledge a hit in fencing or the success or appropriateness of an argument, an accusation, or a witty point
My comment is valid. For a name like "CommonSense" you sure didn't think about that one. lol
Touche good sir
We don't even know when this footage was taken...it could of been back from 2006, don't just assume the worst from the get go!
SO by your own logic, stating that "you're not interested and don't care for MMO's" yet you take the time to comment on the article clearly states you were interested to some degree, even if you don't like the subject you're commenting about.
Not really; the devs already said TESO will have classic Elder Scroll game play in regards to moving, dodging, fighting, running, stealth, etc. Also from what they've mentioned, questing will resemble GW2 setup (they didn't actually say GW2, but its been implied), nothing like WoW. There's also no raiding (Damage/Tank/Heal) in the game, PVP/PVE gear isn't split up, and zones from previous Elder Scroll games will be in this one. Only one mega server with huge plans for PVP, and...
So why comment? lol.
Interesting read.
As a previous dedicated Xbox fan I agree fully with your point of view. It appears that MS is truly betraying their hardcore fan base, targeting casual gamers, Kinect, and moving towards "entertainment" as a whole rather then the original concept of gaming hence the console. I bought a PS3 on boxing day and borrowed most of Sony's big hit exclusives from friends (Killzone, Resistance, God of War, Drake, Metal Gear Solid, etc.) and I have no he...
I bought it for my 360 at first as well on release but stopped playing it due to the MP experience being quite crappy (24 players in maps designed for 64...). PC version is significantly better!
