@ Nyxus
WRONG. It was only advertised as a 4K box, never 60 FPS.
Third time I've said this now, if you don't believe me, go and research everything that was said regarding project Scorpio.
@ TheCommentator
Unfortunately your post has too much common sense in it for arrogant, trolling Sony fans to comprehend.
These same people are so blinded by Sony that they justify anything they do, including all the blatantly obvious anti consumer things they've recently been pulling.
As usual, people jumping to conclusions without actually reading the article.
Case in point:
"Spencer seems to hope that backwards compatibility will bring more value to older, smaller-scale games (many of which are single-player focused) by making them something you can play on a modern machine. And thus, the demand and enjoyment of single-player games can continue, and we won't be trapped in a future where every game has to follow Destiny'...
Again with more assumptions. Thanks but no thanks.
Yeah this makes sense.
Let's be realistic here, how many PC gamers are running around with 8-10 TF's of power? The number can't be that high, in fact I'm willing to bet that most users are still hovering around the 2-3TF range...so for them to say the One X is like a high end PC, well face it, is true.
I was waiting for a bunduru to come out..maybe I WILL get this day one 😁
Thanks for assuming but as usual, horribly wrong.
Nothing wrong with my system, I built it for 1080P not 4K, and I can easily keep using it for years on end on my 1080P screen, but taking the jump to 4K requires alot more.
It's cheaper to just buy the new X and play on 4K then it is to waste money on upgrades. Plus it's good value for what you're getting. That's how I see it.
Enjoy getting gimped on Intel processors ...
I used to go down that road but I'm getting the One X, simply because I'm sick of upgrading my PC.
I'd have to spend well over a grand just to get decent 4K going and I literally upgraded my PC less then two years ago.
Easier to go with the One X, plus 4K blu ray, plus decent graphics to boot plus just miss classic gaming from a controller and my couch.
Not trying to discourage you or anything, just depends on what you wan...
Pressured? Lol get real. Please.
This article couldn't be more accurate. Of course most people here will refuse to see it, despite being overwhelmingly true.
Loved the very last line in this article:
"Gamers need someone to administer Sony a pride obliterating b*tch slap, ASAP."
Nailed it.
I doubt anyone takes anything you say seriously these days.
They could've shown off 100 new exclusives and you'd still be here talking trash about MS.
We get it, you're in love with Sony.
And for the record, MS's E3 was actually fairly decent, a refreshing change from the last couple years.
Nice try but that was never advertised. I've already mentioned this in a past post, but 4K/60 FPS was never advertised by Xbox or Phil Spencer. The goal was always 4K native, and that has been achieved.
Don't believe me? Research all past information regarding Project Scorpio.
@ 4Sh0w
Well said, I think some quality 1st party games are coming 2018 at the earliest. Lots to hold you over in the meantime though.
I don't doubt MS's ability to deliver either. No matter how many people will disagree, Xbox under Phil Spencer has changed significantly. He promised a powerful new Xbox, delivered on said product, now said 1st party is a priority. I see no reason why not to believe him.
Loving all the Sony fans flocking to every Xbox article on here.
But don't worry, I believe you guys when you say you're not threatened by Xbox, with your 60 million users and all of your exclusives and that Sony can do no wrong (ahem ahem cross play, BC).
Keep up the classiness, you guys represent Sony well 👍
Well said. VERY well said. Ultimately, whatever MS ends up doing, classless Sony fans on this site will make it look bad regardless.
Seems to me like Sony fans are in full damage control, literally commenting on EVERY Xbox One article.
What are you guys so worried about? Go enjoy your PS4, you have lots to do on it clearly.
Let the people buying the new One X worry about it. Or in my case, lack of worrying lol.
At least give us an Oblivion remake to help pass the time.
They're selling it at cost. Sure it's not a loss, but to say they're milking people is a bit exaggerated.
It being superior is obvious. It's literally better in every way from a hardware perspective.
Saw this in the article too:
"Xbox also supports backward compatibility while Sony has stated that they won’t because according to them that’s not what players want."
You can hate on MS all you want, fact is, they're doing a much better job offering choices and listening to there fanbase.
Let's see how Sony fans justify this one.
People call MS out, but this, well this right here is just flat out insulting to anyone who calls themself a gamer.
