Read after right from Xbox Support that the X as well as the Slim have built in surge protectors so using an additional one is harmful to the machine.

Yeah no surprise here. Sony went the lazy route with the Pro.
MS played a much smarter approach with the X, and now the proof is overwhelmingly here.
I'd be embarrassed to own a Pro at this point 😂.
