I still play games from that era. There is nothing wrong with amazing games that were based on gameplay. Today, all everyone wants are graphics. I still love the Dragon Warrior (D Quest now) games. And no, nostalgia has not changed how I view those games. Super Mario Bros....? How can anyone not think the NES was not the best console ever. Hell, do we even have consoles without it?

Evercrack... even the name gives me shivers. I don't think I will every truly be free of that addiction. The DTs were the worst!

Fantastic post! As the saying goes: Those who can do, those who can't criticize. I also wrote a couple of blogs on here about how terrible reviewers are and how they could improve and improve greatly.

But for the most part, I actually do look at user reviews more often (ie Amazon, Newegg) and find the obvious review by the corporations and ignore them. But if something is reviewed fully, I like to read the top and bottom reviews because it lets me get a better pictur...

Exactly! Toys are more successful when attached to a narrative. See: GI JOE, Transformers, Ninja Turtles, etc..

@b Digital Rights Management. It is supposed to prevent piracy when all it really does is prevent honest people from playing games they paid for.

Technically, all timed Demos would fall under the DRM category as it is a Digital Rights Management. Of course, also technically speaking an online pass code is DRM as well. Is this DRM like what we are seeing with games that require "always on" or always have game disc inserted? That is what I would want to know.

I was also thinking the same thing. How did this get approved? "Industry wise?" No capitalization, profanity, and rambling tangents. I am not really sure what the "problem" is that he is referring to and why is there a crying baby as a pic?

No kidding. I was at Best Buy the other day and I almost picked it up. I have seen quite bit of good press about this one and players really seem to like it. Now I am getting it on PLUS!!!! Awesome.

DVDs are supported, it is already confirmed. CDs..... meh. I don't really use my PS3 as a CD player now do I. And it would be much, much faster to just use the USB 3.0 to transfer the data/ music/ whatever.

Are you talking of dihydrogen monoxide? The silent killer? http://www.dhmo.org/facts.h...

Well, if it was the 1950's they would have blamed the book...

I think you may be onto something with Forza though... I mean, since cars kill more people than guns, drugs, and leaping off of tall buildings combined...

;D

It isn't debatable at all any more. The science has been done, and done well for 20+ years. The conclusion is that if one spends time with their children, they are less violent.

Games, movies, books, music etc etc etc have no impact.
