When I think of all the classic RPGs that I had and never kept... damn! While the article is good, there is no Dragon Quest/ Warrior love. That makes me sad.

I am already looking back with fondness. Dragon Quest VIII being one of my favorite experiences on that system. And of course, on the NES it was Dragon Warrior... so that stands to reason.

Before Video Games were on the Hitlist, it was Dungeons and Dragons. Before that, it was rock music, before that blues, before that Jazz (or maybe jazz came first) before that Ulysses by James Joyce... popular media, in whatever form, is most likely to get blamed. This is nothing new.
It is definitely worth playing. I loved it. If you are into the series, you will love the game. If you aren't, you will love the game. I clicked here because it was a review for a game that has been out (and completed by many) for months.
