Not for the 360, certainly. But with the new Kinect (and even the new Move) I think there may be some things that could be implemented to regular gameplay like or menus that were implemented with the idea that kinect would be there. We don't know how much better the new kinect or move are going to be. But they do seem to be a step up from previous iterations.
BTW I didn't hit disagree.)
Two points of concern I have about this:
1) The console releases in a few months. Backpedaling means architecture and programing must be tweaked to accommodate for it. Is it going to be ready? Without problems? That is a very, very small window. You must figure that the actual X1s need be in production very soon. You can't undo architectural changes after production begins. This makes a launch X1 a gamble.
2) Creating a great game may take a few ye...
Think of it this way. Devs have been working on games for this system for over a year and a half. So, they implement some kinect features that are related to their game.
Now comes a release that X1 doesn't require Kinect. And people will not have it, but the game the Dev just made requires it...
As a dev, I would be going ballistic right now. That stuff costs money.
I think it is going to be PC and Next Gen. I know that it would be awesome if it were cross platform all the way, and something Rockstar could pull off. But, we will wait and see. Color me excited!
Well, the real problem I see is that they want to launch this system in 2-3 months? Is it going to be ready with all the changes they are making to the core architecture and the OS? This is a very real problem for me.
Want! When does this come out!?!!
He is the douchewagon of the internets. His mother must be so proud of her 40 year old virgin son.
I want the players to be able to "create the story" in the way EVE Online does. Let's make it a huge sandbox and let the players shape it.
It is Etsy, the wannabe Ebay. How lame.
Oh. I didn't realize you were on the development team, my bad. I just thought movement would have fallen under "other things."
What are you doing on here. Why aren't you improving the "movement system."
" Hall mentions that the game's graphics still need to be optimized along with work that is needed for zombie AI among other things." Yeah, I hate reading articles too.
And BF3 over BFBC2?
UPDATE: Sony has issued a statement:
"We would like to clear up a misunderstanding regarding our "direct" and "flexible" memory systems. The article states that "flexible" memory is borrowed from the OS, and must be returned when requested - that's not actually the case.
The actual true distinction is that:
"Direct Memory" is memory allocated under the traditional video game model, so the game con...

I have it through Steam. It is the same devs as the SNES and Gen versions which is sweet. I don't know anything about the ios versions but you can go here: http://www.shadowrun.com/fo...
That is why you have to do your homework. I kickstarted Shadowrun Returns because it was the original devs from the SNES and Genesis versions. Stick with established people.
You just won the interwebs.
Dragon Quest and Ni No Kuni 2
No. I only did $25. But, I did it because it is the original FASA devs that did the Nin and Gen versions.
Except for Star Wars. Lord of the Rings. Spider Man. Goldeneye...
