So, yeah. I thought it was a gas giant. Turns out I can land on it. But, for all intense and purposes...
No Flora, No Fauna, Extreme Radiation. Sentinels Frenzied
So, technically no. But it was huge compared the moons around it. There aren't gas giants but that was the closest I have seen.
This game is the best I have played in a long, long time. It is exceeding expectations. I thought that getting a new ship would be a cumbersome process...it isn't. Comparing the different tech, upgrades...

My first planet was so full of life and flora that I didn't want to leave. Then, I find out I am just on a moon around a gas gian...
No Man's Sky exceeds expectations and is a completely awesome game. It is everything that was promised and much, much more. I am still blown away by just getting off the first planet and learning alien languages. This game is the best.
As for those that find it boring and taking to twitter.... I am sure I can find a plethora of people who don't. Besides, those that don't are playing it right now. I had to take a break after 5 straight hours.
That video is disturbing. One old guy keeps claiming he is a vet and is extremely disrespectful to the kids that are there. At one point he runs up and chest bumps a girl.... not a woman, a young girl who isn't even old enough to drink.

You'd think if there were a universal rubric that all reviewers were to follow then great games would get great reviews. However, there is not. Therefore, great games get lambasted in order to garner clicks. That is how internet revenue works. They higher your ratings (clicks) the more you can earn through advertising.
I don't want to name any games because then the discussion becomes about those individual games rather than the lack...
Please tell me you don't base your purchases on reviews.
