I just wish the liars would have been called out as well. There was some serious faux outrage (ie I am not a MOBA fan so I posted 0 comments and 0 stories about Evolve) and the hate (which I knew would come before launch) was far more outrageous than any claims the dev made during interviews.

No, good sir, I too loved 1886, but then I expected what I got because I read what the developer said in interviews and looked at the about page.
I also love NMS.
I have bought about a dozen games based solely on the hate they received. Some are among the best games I played this generation.
And the reviewers/ journos were all notorious for doing exactly what they are doing with NMS.
I am loving NMS by the way, I even have the platinum.
