No Man's Sky is exactly what we think it is. It has been explained overtly as to ward off any misinformation as to what the game is. Making stuff up is a fabrication and an argumentative fallacy.
I know "It's an opinion." There is a difference between an opinion: "Oreos are the best cookies." And a lie: "Oreo's are meat."
See?
Sounds like they know exactly what they are supposed to be doing.

BTW, if you're so amazing, jimbag fatling, why aren't you a CEO? Why aren't you guiding the industry into untold heights of grandeur and profit?
The mere idea that the people who head up a publishing house are idiots is laughable. And si...
Rockstar doesn't do E3.
What...? This game is great. With the updates, there is so much more to do. Though I wish the post game patches were available at launch, they are here now.
DA Origins was far better than Inquisition. But as far as "this century" goes, 5 is too low a number.
And here I was, playing them simultaneously on my PC and PS4 (as I do with all multiplat games) and lo, the comparison in gameplay and graphics were just too different that I stopped playing both./sarcasm
Yes! Nerfs and Rebalances. Nothing like taking fun games and making them generic. Whee! And then, once this is done and you realize that these rebalances and nerfs make others unbalanced and OP, they will be nerf'd and rebalanced. It'll never end, right Bungie?
Yes. This. Next year (or so) we will hear about DQ XI. Finally, the DQ franchise has come back to the West!
@Nix, you forget Nix ;P I know what you mean though, there are certain people, that once I see a blog or a post by them, I just ignore it and go on to the next.
As for Rookie,
Now the disagrees are just comical relief. I have my share of haters and for weird reasons, I once got Destructoid to mass log in and down vote me. Lulz.
I am part of that community. I just learned about it today. I don't mind. I want the game to release well made, not rushed.
Just remember, most people don't care.
Count up all the negative comments you can find, then compare that to the @300,000 people who already preordered.
The problem with teh interwebz is that the most vocal scream and yell, and the rest just walk away from them. It creates a false image of what "th...
I usually don't buy the Lego Season Pass or the DLC. This doesn't sound like it is any better than previous iterations of their franchises.
I do buy some season passes though: Fallout 4, The Division (yes I still play and love it) and Year 1 of Destiny (didn't buy year 2 since it cost more than I had already spent on the game.)
It is for the same reason I still play NFL 2K5, and NASCAR 04.
They continue to be the most fun iterations of the games.
Awesome! I am so getting this now. For me, it was a wait and see. Now that I know that it is garnering hate from the gaming press, I am getting it day 1. Thanks.
It is weird how this works. Gaming press gives a game hate, I pick it up and it is the exact opposite of what they claim.
"To be taken seriously" By who? Who is so important that the gaming industry needs to worry about whether it is taken seriously?
It's 47.99 for Prime, 48.99 for regular. But then you get free shipping with Prime.
Clickbait is when an article headline sounds outrageous, but the actual article has very little to do with the headline. It is not just found in gaming journalism.
Clickbait used to be called "Yellow Journalism." Then the term took on the name "Senstionalism" and is currently termed "Clickbait."
(I hope this doesn't come across as condescending) It isn't hard to determine clickbait with a little critical thinking. ...
Uncharted 2 special edition with the collectible sells in the thousands.
Great article. Simply what needs to be said. Journo: "Oh, woe is me, I get paid to play games and write about them. But to make myself relevant I will write clickbait."
Response: Get Sacked.
Awww. I already bought Uncharted 4. I didn't know that means I can't buy and enjoy Quantum Break!
Now what am I going to do?!!
Oh. Wait. I live in the free world. I will go and buy the other game and enjoy it too.
I still use the Firewatch theme. I just can't wrap my head around the dearth of gaming related themes. They can't be that hard to make.
