Excellent. I've written a few blogs about this myself.
The only people that will disagree with your stance are the reviewers themselves. "Those who can, do. Those who can't criticize."
The fact is that too many "reviews" are designed solely to garner hits on a website rather than be accurate or thoughtful analyses of games.
In the end, my choice to play games that get the most amount of hate has rewarded m...
Will this work on my 386DX?
:D
No, not new. No, I don't care, at all. And equal settings will show if the graphics are actually different.
That is how it works. Graphics comparisons died out due to too many "journos" manipulating the results, further complications with youtube compression, and then finally because an amazing PC rig that runs 4K (graphics and price) will show better graphics than a console.
Just write one article that claims PC has better graphics than ...
Do we really have to rehash the difference between hype and expectations?
I just looked at Skyrim and it has a 9.1 avg review score...for a game that became unplayable on PS3.
This game has a 7.2. I loved both games for the same reasons.
But hype is up to the individual. And individuals that didn't pay attention to two years of the devs saying "it isn't an MP game" then calling the dev a liar has little to do with h...
Steep. We now have a successor to SSX!!!!
The problem with screen to game movies is that they try to follow what the screen does and fail. Instead, take the universe, create an original game that is fun to play and viola! success.
See: Batman Arkham, Lego games, Telltale's Walking Dead, Star Wars games that don't follow the movies for ideas.
We should believe everything youtube says/sarcasm
There was a menu bug at launch that caused a crash. That, and I played for like 5 hours straight.
The game is awesome. So awesome that when it did crash on me, I left a note as to what happened, sent the report and restarted without feeling any consternation.
The menu bug (PS4) was me hitting options, then quickly going to inventory because I mistakenly pressed the wrong button. It happened often enough that I know that was what caused the crash. So, I st...
1% reported issues...of millions of people.
1% of 1 million is 10,000 people.
And for every "bad review" there are millions of people enjoying and playing this right now.
Why?
Who plays the same game at the same time on two different platforms, then stops playing because of a graphics difference and then never picks up the game again?
And how do we even know if the game is on equal settings for each platform?
Sorry, but this review is too late. All the trolling reviews have been posted. Then came the rational reviews from reviewers that took their time with the game. The avg. review score is 7.2 for 123 reviews.
That is a good score.
Turn off faux news. Get off your couch and go outside. Meet people. Try to understand what they are talking about.
Or live your life as a miserable human being that blames others for your own shortcomings.
Either way, it is on you.
Is it out yet?
Actually. Yes it does. A doctor's opinion on medical advice is more valid than a patients. An astrophysicists opinion on astrophysics is more valid than someone who just looks at the stars.
A teacher's opinion is more valid about education than a politicians. A mechanic's opinion on what is wrong with a car is more valid than a person who only knows how to drive. A mother's opinion about her child is more valid than a person who has no parental experien...
I agreed because I want to know what "masses of hype"are.
So it's an open-world, multiplayer, online, sci fi shooter where every single person is sync'd to the same server?.
If the dev doesn't deliver what they promised I am going to rage all over the interwebz, post withering reviews that blame the dev for not delivering what they didn't promise, and write opinion pieces stating how they lied.
Let's get on the hype train!
Thank you.
Yes. You have a discovery page. And, if the star is along the path to the center of the galaxy, it is easy to go back and find it.
Better hyperdrives mean you can jump farther, but makes it harder to go back.
Also, there are tons of other star systems that aren't on the main paths that are quite rewarding.
Explain that to the Order reviewers.
Clean it out, dust around your TV, console and get some air.
I bought a different TV stand and that made a huge difference. If you have one of the old boxy/ wood types get rid of it. I now have shelf that is open on all sides with just two posts that hold it up.
