You get to keep the flashbacks you got in a previous game save (I think!)
Best part of the game LOL
Be glad it's not like MGS3 and you actually _are_ allowed to save in MGS4 to get the emblem, though I swear this takes out the need to have the restriction on continues, just makes it a pain because you have to reload your game rather than continue.
Yeah the whole section from when you last put down the controller to the end of the coda is about an hour I think, maybe it's 45 I don't know. But can anyone remember how long, say, Final Fantasy endings are? I seem to remember 9 was really long, more than an hour I think. It's because they need to tie up every loose end of every character. Which is exactly what MGS4 does.
Ooh Sussex...
Too bad it can't be good news, eh? Well at least folks from here made, erm, Lego Island? Remember that?
Brain age sells because of advertising. Well to be honest, take any product; I don't think there's ever been a product that's sold purely on its own merits. But there are plenty of pieces of cr@p that have sold thanks to a clever marketing campaign.
Echochrome stretches the mind in a way that brain age tries to achieve, but in the end, I suppose it doesn't exercise your mind any more than any other puzzle game out there.
You forgot Gears 2 has 5 ON 5 MULTIPLAYER!!!1`1212`grave
The corpses disappear :(
Yeah part 2 _was_ more obtrusive (though still had some awesome cutscenes in there), but it was mainly because lots of it was done by codec. Remeber the codec sequence just before the final fight? It took so frickin' long to get through. Most of it was BS as well because it was just the AI playing tricks on our mind (like when he talks about a layer of consciousness building up in the whitehouse). In MGS4 there are a lot less codec sequences if you'd notice and they are often replaced by cuts...
I couldn't imagine playing diablo without a mouse and keyboard....
No wait I can! Has anyone played it with a graphics tablet & keyboard? It's AWESOME!!
Did you play diablo 2? That's what it was about, basically. Of course there will be a single player game (and likely the same one as for co-op), but it's so much fun, even playing with someone that you don't know; it was very easy just to jump in and out of, but it did mean that the first few quests got a lot more playtime than the later ones.
I don't think it's quite isometric, you can see some perspective there, but it's awesome that they've kept the same style of game that everybody loved, rather than jumping on the 3rd person bandwagon.
I think I understand the whole story now - it's quite simple really. I liked the end, it explained most of it for me ;)
Yes and even MGS4, which is very open-ended as in how you play, which routes you take, is still linear in terms of plot progression and 1/2 the areas in the game. Heck, it still has infinite enemy respawn points which I thought we could have left behind us by now. Just face it, a truly non-linear game would take 5 times the resources to create a game of the same length and quality, not to mention that it would be very difficult to create a plot for such a game. I remember reading in a preview...
All I'm worried about is that it may turn into a linear, infinite-enemy-respawning, run through the game and shoot people-type affair. And I know, it's an FPS, you're going to shoot people the whole way through, but I want something more from an FPS nowadays. And no I don't just mean a vehicle section. Or turning a wheel to open a gate.
Saying that, there are destructible environments and a neat cover system that make this game stand out. Hopefully with the delay to next year the...
4 Years = 1461 days because one of them is a leap year
lol
I SAID THIS WOULD HAPPEN!!
LOL no one believed me when I said home would release in 2009. Home has been a big disappointment already, because of the delays, and it better not suck, otherwise it will have been a complete waste of time and money. Just think; home will be releasing an awful long time into the lifespan of the PS3, will many users care? They will have played on online games just fine without it, so why would they suddenly want to start wasting time and money in home. ...
And with that, I'm not even reading any comments, I've seen too much already, I'm not watching this and I think I'll take a break from N4G and other sites until the game is in my hands.
You forgot about Snake. Snake? SSSSSSSSSSNNNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEE!!!!
Can I ask what's the point in sequels to these type of games when they're all the same and you can download additional tracks anyway?
