It's sad that FFXIII is taking so long, I think we will only see 1 FF game this generation (well FFXIII and versus), I think they should have only done 1 game, and make it as great as possible, because whilst FFXIII may well be released in 2009, versus may not see the light of day until 2010, and it may be canned altogether.
Yup. Been playing MGS2 recently, on european extreme difficulty, you die in 1 hit from bosses, no rations, it's very almost impossible. MGS4, even on extreme mode, is a joke in comparison. The bottom 2 difficulty levels are completely redundant because there's barely any challenge on "solid normal" mode. You can have up to THREE rations on extreme mode in MGS4, 3!! Too easy...
Rephrase your question politely, maybe then he will listen? Nah...
Sony have been too ambitious with home. As much as I'm anticipating its release, it might not turn out all that great, and I would have loved for all that money/dev time to have been spent on a new game...
Green! I see green!
I found COD4 to be very fast paced, and I bored of it after a while - except search and destroy, that's where I spent most of my time. Taken straight from Counter Strike it may be, but it's still awesome. Now I'm playing MGO, and my only criticism is the lag.
Team Sneaking mode is my new favourite; I actually say the defending team patroling up and down whilst a teammate snuck behind them, took the target and ran back to the goal. I've hidden in cardboard boxes and drum cans, and...
What's more, they often don't even bother localising things into english english (don't blame them really), but they could at least change the spellings of words to be correct!
Little Big Adventure? Wait that means Media Molecule weren't really _that_ original with their title after all hmm....
Of course it would look easy, they usually put it on easiest setting if they are demoing a game.
Yes I know they haven't disappointed before with FF BUT they HAVE said they've had problems with the PS3, and what's more their engine is designed to be multiplat (even on PC, wtf??) and I can't see FF13 being mindblowing graphically. But we'll see, won't we ;)
Hopefully these new units will have some backwards compatibility.
Fully agree - why on earth is it not over PSN? The only advantage I can see for doing it through another system would be to enable cross-platform play (lol) which of course can't happen... The reason they _have_ done it this way is ONLY so they can charge for more characters (otherwise you'd just open up another PSN account and get it that way). All I hope is that they keep the new game modes/maps FREE and let the DLC be the new characters - often with expansions no one plays them after a few...
Good point, BUT the reason we don't want copies of things is, well, we've already got a Wii zapper! If sony was making something truly innovative, THAT's when to get excited. Just as USB ports are nice to have, so would this new thing for PS3, but if they had a big announcement _just_ concerning PS3 USB ports, that would be a bit of a let down, wouldn't it?
Interview's - wtf. I know this isn't grammar class but why is that apostrophe there?
I just hope there's a setting if you _do_ have a decent rig to make the corpses stay put, I hated that disappearing corpse fade in the gameplay trailer :(
little 600 dollar thing? I know it was blown out of proportion, but we had
Riiiiidge Racer!!!
Giant enemy crab! Attack its weak point for MASSIVE DAMAGE!!
Not forgetting...
Riiiiidge Racer!!
I'm very much used to the hi-def gaming now; when I first got super stardust HD on my PS3 I played it _just_ because it looked gorgeous, now I don't get the same kind of wow-factor... but I'm sure if I looked at wii graphics I'd soon be loving it all over again!
I think the only reason they were left out is because of those pain in the @rse installs; you'd have to install before watching each cutscene, or fighting each boss.
Pain might have been a good game if it launched with 3 or more maps. Charging a further $7 for another map is just ridiculous.
That's what everyone said last year, I was really looking forward to Home's October release last year...
