Didn´t it drop already in april, compared to the initial month? Total 2.8?mill. of which 1.6 where sold in March of 2017 (1.2 or more in April). I don´t think they will, they will reach 7 to 8mill. next year (depends on how many they can sell holiday 2017) but close to 15mill. nope ... and you all better start to understand

This is their first game, to test the waters ... with Sea of Thieves you can expect lots of skinpacks, weapons, items, chest drops delivery (H1Z1) ... keys for said chests and other "boats" with zero diversity in it´s gameplay. There is already a better sea of the thieves clone on steam i believe, with the same gameplay as this game.

Nintendo sold about 1.3mill. Switch per month, close to 2.8 after 2 months. Sony is selling about 1.5mill. PS4 since 2013+ every month ... i believe it will be more a fight between the NX (stupid name "Switch) and the Scorpio for 2nd place.

All im saying is that Sony sold as many PS4 as PS2 during the first 3 years. All this without the help of the japanese console market (which was still strong during the PS2 days) and with a much higher price tag after 3 years ($199 vs $299/399).
Once they lower it, it should sell even more.

3º nowdays actors have to jump around while performing ... this tech ain´t mobile at all.
Too expensive for one and very limited ... as every "real human" facial expression is limited to what they have captured during the capturing process. Nowdays every "actor" acts/jumps around in a suit with white balls attacked to him/her ..while performing. With this setup you can not do that, it is not mobile at all since the actor has to sit there and "act" ...
The PC stagnates for decades now. Last time the pc pushed forward was around the 3DFX era ... ever since the pc was just an incremental upgrade. WE need to take the risks (PS3, DS4 touchpad, Wii "gimmicks") .. else we will only do minor steps.
Mark Cerny wanted to add an raycasting rasterizer for the PS4, but went with a trad. gpu instead simply because of the lazy developer not wanting to code from scratch everytime. One for raycasting (Ps4) and one for the trad....
