Sony´s CEO of Japan kinda let that slip thru : "We´re only half way in our cycle..." during the TGS P.C ... so guess we´re getting 2013 - 2016 Amateur PS4 2016 - 2019 Pro PS4 ... 2020 seems like a good year to launch their 5th console (hopefully by then we get a nice generational leap in terms of EVERYTHING)

Never played nor do i have any intentions of playing it, but i am pretty sure the consensus of MGS5 was more like "eh at best". MGS1 and MGS3 (without having played MGS5) are for sure better, that´s at least my guess. MGS3 was dope so was the first one.

Somehow it feels like, we are keeping MS alive/afloat this gen. And with WE i mean those that are against anything MS related, but constantly criticizing them on everything they´re doing. Bad criticisms is still PR ... so if we keep our mouths shut, the MS´s train would finally derail/stop ... yet we keep rekindling the flame by constantly posting justified or not BAD critique.

Currently one can board a ship and kill other pirates on a different ship or search for pointless? treasures .... and repeat the same thing over and over again. I don´t see any long lasting appeal to this game, .. how long til that gets boring-repetitive?

I´ve never owned more than one at once. There are enough games on one platform, i don´t see why WE GOT to play every f_cking game on the planet.
Even in my younger years, i had not enough time to play on 2 or 3 or 4 devices. Now older ... barely got time/interest to play on one. Not sure how you all cope with that. Why even bother? Do you have to play everything?
I´ve seen other benchmarks like handbrake and the differences between the top end cpus were like within 6 seconds iirc (the intel having 10 threads less ...).
Seems that AMD has still not figured out how to improve the IPC. 10 Threads less and only 6s slower than 1950x (x265 encoding) .. dunno who´s going to jump for those 6s? And the Die size is another hot topic, the 1950x is nearly twice the size of the intel top cpu ...

MS barely sold 100K units last month June (NPD USA is always a month late) vs. the 300K? or close to of PS4. People are already holding out, on buying the XB1 Slim for the X instead ... only going to get worse. Happened to Sony with the imminent launch of the PS4Pro, MS will face the same problem.
Wouldnt say stalled, but it is sure quiet right now. Havent been following the news/scene as of late, did the console not get the FCC approval yet? Or any other reason for them not "opening the gates" for those wanting to preorder the XB1X?

Of course it´s getting a backlash. Who was again that claimed over 365 days before the console´s even out, that their console was a true 4K machine, with true RGB High Quality Pixels never seen before ... who said that PS4 Pro was not a true 4K machine and its competitor was the XB1S?
