No, no it doesn't. Lol using an article from 2013 that is not accurate doesn't help your case any. The base PS4 and PS4 slim DO NOT output at 4k in any shape or form.
XB1 S. The PS4 Slim doesn't do 4k. How does this swill get approved as an article?
This is what I think the real issue is. People are use to Sony getting all the praise this generation that people seem surprised Sony could actually garner hate. To the people wondering where all the hate for PS4 comes from; Where does all your hate for Xbox come from? Xbox has been receiving hate for 3 straight years now. Nobody wonders where it came from. The XB1 didn't bring what gamers were hoping for so the hate began. The PS4 Pro didn't bring what gamers were hoping for, so now ...
I feel like I walked into the twilight zone. How do so many gamers not know the difference between user generated content and actual mods?
You went full fanboy. Never go full fanboy.
lol
Mostly I've seen the opposite of hype regarding this game.
These loading times are ridiculous. I've been all for this game due to it being a breath of fresh air for the xbox platform, but long loading times frustrate me to the extreme.
Not surprised, but I am extremely disappointed.
PC gamers singing the praises? Because of the 1 article where clearly not a very "die hard" PC player talks praise of the PS4 Pro? Hmmmm, Ok. I'm not bashing the Pro at all, but to be so naive that you think PC gamers are singing the PS4 praises is just brainless. Lol, I have a buddy who loves Sony consoles, but has been thinking about picking up a XB1 S. He must be singing xbox praises.
100% agree. Unfortunately I don't think the openness says anything about the company itself. I think that whoever is the underdog for the generation tends to be more open. PS3's ecosystem was FAR more open than 360's. Now that the sales have turned, so to has the direction of the company's.
@joeorc
Did you read the article? Sony made the decision to not allow mod support.
@Christpher
Edit: Okay I retract my previous statement. Bethesda did in fact decide not to allow mod support. This only comes after the fact that they would have to modify how mods work in the first place just to work on ps4. Not bethesda's fault that MS actually has the more open ecosystem this gen. Sony could certainly loosen restrictions to allow mod suppor...
Wow, you went full fanboy. Never go full fanboy. Just food for thought.
lol wow, you need a hobby. You spend far too much mind power on this fanboy thing.
lol a comment like that and you're calling other people fanboys.
Considering it's SONY who cancelled mod support, speak with your wallet toward them.
No. No they don't ever get tired of it. "They did and it was bad for gaming, but now it's good for gaming because it's in my favor" is a big theme around this place.
30 some million in a year? Really?
Ummmm... ps4 is actually on track for possibly the best selling console generation compared to ps2, but sure. Whatever you say.
Well then you should be happy you're not playing on a 4k tv then. A lot of the current 4k sets out there have input lag when you feed them a 1080p signal. With the XB1 S, there is no input lag since the tv doesn't have to do the upscaling. Even without native 4k, the xb1s benefits a lot of 4k sets. The PS4 Pro will do even better in this regard as it will be higher resolutions being upscaled to 4k.
