if you own a high end PC then PC+Wii U seems like a better way to go
its sad that this has become a "feature" It used to be the norm.

Halo FIVE, forza FIVE, dead rising 3, KH3 makes the 10th Kindom hearts game, killzone FOUR, infamous THREE, mgs5 (which looked awesome),FF15, new call of duty, new battlefield, assassins creed 4. there were a couple new IP's (knack, wonderful 101, ryse)but the entire industry is full of sequels and successors. this isn't just a nintendo concern.
it is saddening to think that the term hardcore gamer now refers to gamers to love gritty, realistic looking games overloaded with cutscenes and some sort of shooting mechanic. most of these games also have a shallow story these days. i've put more time into super mario u and lego city than any other console game since january. the hard modes on super mario are hardcore in every way. i think nintendo provides for those sick of the same dribble that the other two consoles continuously ...
i'd say sony is gonna be taking huge losses in the first couple years of the ps4's life to come out at that price.
microsofts mistake is charging the extra 100 for kinect in the box, which i dont think many people care too much about.
^ a lot of people don't even know about any of the next gen consoles at this point, which is strange considering how much hype there was for the last ones. The hype is really low right now, i don't think ps4 or xbox is gonna be pulling the sales that they are wanting.
im primarily a PC player, but i buy nintendo consoles for the exclusives, oddly though i have 2 third party games on the wii u and only one first party, but that will change when all the games at e3 come out.
developers cut support at the beginning of PS3 life cycle as well only to return when the sales picked up. in case you guys don't remember, a lot of the popular game series were originally xbox only to be ported to ps3 a year or two later.

nintendo has a lot of creative exclusives, cheapest console, innovative controller, free online completely, graphics between last gen and new gen. i think they win. i feel like the other two consoles are scams at this point. for great visuals i have pc that will play most of the games revealed by the other two, and at the price of the xbox one, i can upgrade my pc to be way more powerful than either console.

lol, its only the rabid, illogical, religious fanboy sect on a few select websites, most people don't sit on here defending their corporate god. most people who play games just simply buy games they want to buy, play them, go on about their business.
With steam getting bigger and the Wii U putting out creative and pretty games, I see no reason to buy into the scam of either xb one or ps4 just for a couple exclusives. I'm not paying a fee to play online, after paying for the game, and then inevitably DLC. I use wii u for netflix, which is more fluid with the tablet controller. These overpriced boxes and services are ridiculous.
considering the gaming community got suckered into shooter after shooter last gen, yeah. Something like sonic lost world and X is extremely refreshing. The most exciting games from the other two like MGS5, KH3, aren't exclusives.
most of the creativity from the ps2/gamecube generation was sucked dry last time around. Indie titles were the only refreshing games to play aside from a few games like mario galaxy, demon's/dark souls, the witcher.
witcher 3, dark souls 2, titanfall, all also on PC with better visuals, no rush to get the new consoles
i'd say wii u has the best exclusives with X, bayonetta 2, smash bros, pikmin 3, sonic lost world, super mario 3d world.
dark souls 2 and witcher 3 are the only games in the show i've cared about, both are coming to PC, no reason to get either console this year.

Also on xbox one all of your family members can play the games your main account has, same thing.
i think nintendo fans just don't get suckered into buying typical shooter BS, which is most of the market on the other consoles.
