I can't help but feel that this game is more about wanton destruction than anything else. There seems to be a central story line of intrigue, but it doesn't seem to have more than that. The AI is a joke. Its not even GTA4's level. They just stand there for you to decapitate them. I mean if I were getting rushed at by some monster or the main character I'd run away, roll aside, or unload a full clip on auto hoping it would do something. The feeling that i get is it's going to be like a sp...
why would be people get butt hurt? FFXIII comes to all platforms and FFXIII VS goes to PS3. It is what it is.
They're japanese girls with dyed hair and color contacts is basically what it is... I don't think it is anything more than that. Mannerisms and body language are distinctly japanese.
Gonna be interesting to compare how the multiplat FF game will compare to the platform exclusive FFVS. This will be by far the best example of whether multiplats suffer from being developed for multiple platforms.
I totally agree with this article. Microsoft will definitely outshine GOW3 at E3. I mean look at this! They've already started!

Don't know about the bullets being affected, but you got to watch the grenades trajectory for sure.
Wow that's a really impressive looking multiplayer map. Can't wait to try it!
Personally, I have more confidence in Konami portraying a “realistic” war game than a company like EA, DICE, etc. I’m sorry, but Japanese game developers consistently deliver a more believable, and tangible story than the vast majority of Western developers out there (excluding Bioware). Most western shooters are extremely light-hearted or even senseless… look at Battlefield: Bad Company or even COD4/COD5. They’re great shooters without a doubt… but no real story to talk about. On the otherha...
And that's why they continue to violate patents left and right. All pocket change.
Why don't you buy parts and build your own car while your at it? For the same price as OEM parts, you could get aftermarket gear that would tear a hole in your Original manufactured car. Or better yet, reupholster your furniture like a "PC rig upgrade" and get high quality leather to replace your faded fabric and save 1/3 money doing it.
Similar reason why people buy macs over building their own custom rigs.
If macs were just outside better... I could get a pimped out custom rig pc instead for cheaper...
The OS and low key maintenance is what I bought my system for.
@Foxgod based off of your "take" why don't you save some money and build your car, house, etc. while your at it? There's blueprints and plans for those available.... I'm sure you could make it better than what the designers have on the table.
I choose reliability any day of the week over power. Besides I could fork over an arm and leg for the mac pro... cuz then I would have uptime and power too. Believe me, uptime and hassle-free maintenance is much preferred over power when you get older.
When ur young the custom rig is leet and all that, but as you get older, you care more about work vs. gaming.
I have the same mindset. Its not like I couldn't "handle" my Windows PC but between all the driver reinstalls, running like 3 scans every other day to look for trojans/virueses, and just all the maintenance... I threw up my hands and bought a Mac as well. I needed to simply spend less time troubleshooting and more time working. Believe me, the price difference of $300-800 is worth it when you factor in lost R&R, and work.
I dual boot to Windows when i need it, but ...
That was kind of disturbing to watch... I can't help imagine what the player's like in real life...
It looks retarded. Everyone is jumping into the sandbox design but very studios have any clear direction. There doesn't seem to be any pacing with this game. Breaking into a facility to steal a walker shouldn't feel like playing with lego blocks with shooting on the side but that's just how this title looks like so far. Plus, once you get into the walker... a behind the walker view? It's covering the damn screen with it's height... how do you see ahead? isn't that annoying?
"suckiness?" That's a word only a professional "dumbass" would write.
Just imagine the girl shows up at the door thinking he's the one, and the Lavern opens the door, spreads his arms and yells, "April Fools!!!"
And we never see her again XD
why are they still wasting time publishing on the 360? Its obvious that their JRPGs aren't popular with the predominantly western consumer base. Go wii and ps3 or something, stop wasting your resources tri-ace
Hi donnie2008, I kind of agree. It is more difficult to see the advantages of the ps3, when the 360 can generate some excellent character models and decent environments. However to say it is slightly ahead would be false as well. One example I can make is the environments in Uncharted 1 were amazing because of how the wind interacted with the foliage to produce moving shadow silouettes. Environments in 360 games I've noticed are very static. There is no weather modeling, there is no phys...
@Xabmol- unless you can hit townspeople and steal their cars and buy new hoods... Alan wake is not a full sandbox. It will be alot of instanced gameplays and story driven. As a story driven episodic game with multiple endings, Alan Wake and Heavy Rain will make for a fair comparison.
