Thanks for replying GamerTags, but you really haven't refuted anything that I've said so far. Perhaps a few examples of games with numerous interactions on the 360 side would really "add" to your argument. Better yet how about some choice quotes about how powerful the 360 is with regards to physics simulation. Most of the middleware physics that I've seen has not even come close to duplicating what I've seen going onscreen with very impressive 1st party Sony titles. As of right...
You can rant. You can jump up and down. You can scream and pout. You can even try to reason your "logic" on others, but the fact is KZ2 can't and won't be done in its entirety on the 360. There's a reason why 360 fanboys called it a media player / physics simulator. There is a reason why so many scientists in the community simulate on the ps3. It is because the cell processor can spit out just a crazy amount of physics interactions. For example, i have STILL yet to see any (eve...
I was noted on one of the conference wrap-ups that the device is going to be around $200 for the setup.
So to me... that's a gimmick and a very expensive one.
Your statistics are true... except for the fact that this is 2009 and Sony has more exclusive titles with meta scores of 85 or higher already. Sorry bud, its like quoting MS stock was worth $50+ in 2000. Yes that's true, but its 21.40 in 2009.
maybe because neither title you mentioned is going to be exclusive *wink wink*. Isn't it strange they weren't talked about?
a bit of a premature announcement "win" if you ask me... sophomoric even. Reminds me of a 4 year old who does his little bit of show and tell and automatically crowns him or herself the winner, without looking left or right.
Don't you think there's a reason Sony went ahead and pre-announced most of their known exclusive titles for this year and next Mr. Tim McDonald? Could it be because Sony has a bit too much to announce this year that they had to pick and choose? R...
I wouldn't be so quick to be rejoice GamerTags. I'm underwhelmed that there will only be 1 true AAA exclusive on the 360 this year. Yes Splinter Cell Conviction. There's already a forza 2 to hold over forza 3... so its not that big of an announcement. I'll give it an A anyway, but that barely makes 2.
Crackdown2 is not an AAA title. It just isn't. Its a great B title. Everyone who has played it knows it.
Tony Hawk Ride is no A.
Left4Dead2 is more like an expansio...
This game's graphical quality to me, looks to be on par or slightly better than Far Cry 2.
http://www.gametrailers.com...
In fact, both feature large open environments so my guess is that Remedy is probably working around the same constraints as the CryEngine Makers.
So no, I don't think SaberEdge, that this game is pushing the graphical envelope or bar. If it ...
I certainly agree that Production values have been raised for a MS exclusive for sure, but graphical bars were already raised a long time ago by other titles. The game doesn't look better than uncharted 2, nor does it look necessarily better than even FarCry 2 and that had an open environment as well.
Did you just claim that MS doesn't lie? Are you a Vista user? How about Microsoft BOB? Do you know him? I thought I read wrong, but you really are delusional aren't you?
Its been proven already that even at 1080p compressed, you still need 8.38 mbits of bandwidth to "stream" 1080p. I'm sorry but with the amount of people accessing the marketplace servers and your theoretical 10mbits cable connection actually hitting about 4-6 mbits at the best of times, you ARE NOT get...
I don't think there is much of a lineup this year to talk about. Only one that would interest a ps3 user this year on the 360 side would be Splinter Cell Conviction. On the otherhand, Alan Wake next year is a good contender.
So no Mr. Balls, you can play with yourself later.
@Kevin below: Well L4D2 is going to probably be a map expansion more than a "true" sequel if you ask me.
This expansion is a bit on the ho-hum drum in terms of graphics. Alan Wake is recognized as being cool by me. However, visuals ... meh not so much. There's not much in the way of ground breaking at the moment. More the story and production values being top notch in my opin.
Wow, you continue to amaze me with your remarks. There's something called NEW 3rd party franchises. Little Big planet just happened to be one of those. Sony is clearly developing new franchises in order to continue breaking new ground. Maybe you and MS should stop living in the past and grow some.
Looking at what was announced, this is the only one I would consider is AAA, looking at its production values. The environmental lighting is sparse but very good. The atmosphere is very scary and great! The sound design is very good with the creaking trees and rustling. There is some nice lightplay, but unfortunately that does not apply for what I would consider is the most important light... your flashlight. The flashlight beam casts no shadows. Looking at the first attacks from the shad...
does that make you overwhelmed or underwhelmed? XD
Sure we live in mud huts here Tito. After all bandwidth is like 30-40mbits in Europe and like 60-80 in East Asia.
I don't think think even ur "superior" 10mbit connection could stream 1080p. You're home network is running at 100Mbit -1000mbits (theoreticallY) between each networked (wired) device, and even wireless is at least 54mbit these days.
So full 1080p streams? doubtful.

so how many exclusive AAA titles for the 360 are coming this year?
so how many exclusive titles are coming to the 360 this year?
Can someone list it out?
MGS Rising isn't MGS5. Note there wasn't any "5" listed even in the conference vids.
Hideo just owned his own spin-off title. Sounds like the rumors were true about his disavowal of MGS:Rising.
