It is simple remasters. People are getting their hopes up for nothing.
People seem to know which three games they're going to be. "From the ground up" in this instance will mean new textures, not new games.
Duh. Could anyone imagine PSOne textures upscaled to HD? We've already seen PS2 and PS3 games done like that and they're frankly ugly, nowhere near HD. GTA San Andreas "upgraded" for PS3 & 360 is a prime example. Doi...
Gee, didn't think of that... /s
Ya know. A code for a digital copy of Modern Warfare that doesn't align with the launch of Infinite Warfare. Like many of those pre-order incentives that have ever been sold off or the pre-orders canceled. Then knowing not only GameStop offers Modern Warfare Remastered. Plus again, if Playstation is getting early access MW has zero to do with the Infinite Warfare physical release as then how could Playstation possibly get it early?

If the Neo rumors turn out to be true this may be a big deal for Microsoft. Not only are they adding 4K playback capability but 4K gaming.
If many here turn out to be correct along with rumored specs of the Neo Sony is only looking to offer 4K playback. 4K gaming wouldn't even be a possibility. Plus the higher specs of Scorpio would result in a better VR experience while Sony is banking on PSVR.
That said Scorpio is going to be a beast. Talking about ...
No to both.
Sony secured Crash as an exclusive character for the next Skylanders game. Activision still owns Crash and will be working on the remasters.
More info can be found here as the Playstation blogs don't even have the remasters posted yet but do Crash appearing in Skylanders.

I don't see the problem actually. After all this time Minecraft continues to receive new content and updates.
Plus cross platform play on every device outside of Playstation is a decent deal. Seeing Microsoft poke at Sony for not wanting to be included in the same conversation while listing a closed platform like iOS is rather amusing. Apple was supposedly the most closed platform out there. Looks like that's changing.
Being sold separately at a later date now confirmed.
A little sense here people. Modern Warfare is being released early to the Playstation platform. Infinite Warfare is not. If the two were completely tied together how could they release one early but the other not?
Also confirms the digital copy is not tied to the Infinite Warfare disc so resale of Infinite Warfare without losing Modern Warfare is very possible. Even very likely you can get one for free ...
PS4 never seeing PSOne BC confirmed.
So much potential being wasted in favor of profits.
Vince Zampella stated single player would detract from the game and would need more resources that could be used to make the multiplayer better... Now that's somehow changed?

Considering CoD has been proven to be a juggernaut year after year, being the highest selling yearly series out there and Destiny still receives support plus garnered quite a bit of sales itself?
Yeah, something tells me just like the last time a Battlefield title went up against CoD and claimed to be a "CoD killer" Activision will manage just fine once again.
I dunno about poor but not great.
The one positive I can say is both FIFA and Madden are priced lower than Amazons used prices so to that extent it's not terrible if you're into those games and want to pick them up cheap.
@Khaotic: Microsoft is probably entitled to X amount of revenue until they recoup what they spent if not a little profit if the game does well enough. Little profit being subjective as if you're Microsoft in this case you'd want as much profit as possible.
I do hope Microsoft opens streaming from Xbox One to PC without the need for a router or network. PS4 can do it. Why not the Xbox One? The results from going to a direct connection versus a network connection on PS4 is pretty evident. I'd imagine it would be on Xbox One as well.
Could be. Goldberg has said he didn't like how the Wrestlemania XX match went and clearly fans expected more. Goldberg has also said he does want to compete in the WWE again but more on his terms.
If they could orient both the single player and multiplayer I personally think it'd be fantastic.
Controlling three characters isn't a bad deal but what if friends could join in place of the other two? Something more like the campaign for Black Ops 3? I'd also be intrigued by the idea of the story being in online, playable both by yourself or with friends. My only issue with this scenario is requiring the player to constantly be online. If you're playing sol...
I do think it'd make sense for Rockstar to have imagined GTA Online as more of a hub rather than just a portion of GTA V. Adding places like Liberty City would make sense in that scope.
Honestly I'm still somewhat baffled GTA Online hasn't went standalone. Everything about it from the beginning to now seems to have insinuated it was the plan.
I'm excited for The Crew but not much else personally. I do hope they discount the DLC for the game as well as it may entice me more.
That said my son loves Goat Simulator. Don't get it myself but if my kid enjoys it it's still a victory.
Still, hoping to see Ryse or a Forza go free. Halo MCC or Halo 5 would be welcome too. Shooting for the stars there I think, at least with Halo 5. Forza 5, Horizon, or MCC doesn't seem like such a pipe dr...
PS4 is still selling for $400
Would it really be too much for these games to go away for a year? They've turned way stale over time plus removed many aspects that made the WWE titles great.
I don't particularly care for remakes or remastering over new entries but this series desperately needs it. Here Comes The Pain would be amazing in 1080p and with an updated roster. The original roster was great for the time but adding new faces would be very welcome.
I'd even bet they&...
You could always just snap a music app on Xbox One then turn in game music down or off
I've really got to ask.
How is confirming Neo then statements made in this article any different outside of Sony doesn't care to release specs?
"In terms of the right time to talk about Neo, just like every other hardware launch, VR being a good example, it’s when you’ve got a full range of experiences that you can showcase to say this is why this product’s great and that’s why we’re offering it. And that time is not right now.”
