This game will re-define gaming. It will re-define what is cool.

There's NO WAY I'm going to post here, begging for a key. How pathetic.
(BUT IF YOU HAVE ONE, PM ME, OK??? ALRIGHT????)

Totally agreed, Dro, especially about the third party games. But this won't happen until the PS3 install base is significantly larger than that of the 360's. Developers have to find reason to make sure that giving special benefits to the PS3 is worthwhile financially.
I personally think it's worth the risk, and that PS3 owners would gladly embrace such benefits. We're worth every cent of effort!

Ohhh...dangit. This means the 360 won this month. :( I hope Pachter is actually right this time around. :(

Amazon is no true reflection of the overall marketplace but it is something.
Oh, I'm giving it time. As it stands, I'm not impressed. I truly expected more of a splash.

If the 360 doesn't make the top 10 this week, I'll say R.I.P. 360.

This pricecut is not having the intended affect. All of the 360 SKUs are still wobbling around 25th and 26th place. It's better than #300 or so where they were, but everytime the PS3 did a pricecut, it went to #1 for at least a day or so. Meanwhile, the PS3 is selling steadily even above the Wii at this point according to amazon.
It's either that nobody knows about this pricecut or not enough people care.
I still think, overall, the 360 will show good sales numbers f...
Honestly, I'm assuming not enough people know about it.

Neither Nintendo nor Sony need to do a thing until this new pricepoint proves itself. Wait and see.
12
...that despite the pricepoint, the 360 is still selling like doodoo on amazon. Now, while I realize that amazon is no true measure of universal sales, I did expect it to at least bump up.
12
...for me. I really hope it's as good as it looks.

No surprise that it didn't do anything in Europe. Europe is not exactly fond of Microsoft.
I do believe that it will have at least a month's impact here in the States, the home country of Bill Gates and home of the most Microsoft propoganda. I'm curious to see.

Don't understand why this is so shocking. When a console is selling the poorest against two rivals, it has no choice but to be priced lower then the rest in order to compete and get a boost. *shrug*
12
...you will have noticed a slight pause after you downloaded it. I did. At that time I knew something was up, and I was right. :)
12
Got mine. :)
Lol...I know, right? I don't get picked for ANYTHING.

Excuse you MK? It's all a matter of opinion but I too believe that Tekken is the best fighting series ever. And I'm of the old school and am a big fighting game fan.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule...my personal one is Xenogears. Not many folks appreciated that game until years after. But generally speaking, AAA games tend to be good ones, with the truth of the matter taking place over time.
I'm pretty sure this game won't be viewed as a classic in a couple of years. Are you?

DUDE! Most of the PS2 RPGs aren't all that great---most of them ARE 6 and 7s and copies of each other.
But we're not talking about the PS2. We're talking about the 360 trying to break into the RPG market and hence there is more pressure on games like this. And in this case, that game failed.
If you want to establish yourself as a JRPG console, you need to have at least a few good ones and not just a bunch of mediocre ones only.
No fanboy stuff here---I'l...
On it.
