It's fine to express your opinion, but when you start flippin out on people for having their own opinion, it's not cool. Some people just take themselves too seriously. Not that I have a problem with a good argument, but there's a constructive way to do it, I think...

I personally think the GoW series is one of the best out there, so I hope developers aren't listening to you, the minority who dislikes these games.

It's an opinion, not something you can argue with me about. And no I don't relate to lara croft. It was merely a point, sometimes in games like final fantasy if you can't relate to the character or feel where they're coming from it can make the experience less enjoyable (not necessarily saying that's the case here)... That's MY opinion, not yours.
Final Fantasy is among others, the number 1 reason I buy a new Playstation everytime. Looks incredible... The only thing I'm not sure of is (sorry if it sounds sexist) the female protagonist. As a male it might be harder to relate to a female character. But it's way too early to know anything, who knows what characters you'll play through out the game. Super stoked for this game, and unlike too many next gen games, you know this one won't be beat in one weekend.
I agree, stick to next gen hardware. I really hope this isn't delayed any longer, and I hope the next gen versions don't suffer for the crap wii version... I've been waiting a long time for this game. Lucas is all about maximizing profits now... Not the same Lucas that made the first 3 films.

I agree withe BIG. Fanboy is a bit over used. It's ok to be fond of a particular company. You can usually spot a fanboy when they're completely unconstructive (and wrong about their facts) when criticizing another company.
I agree with Wildarms.... It's fine for him to say they're making a different game but they clearly took a shot by saying passive games are on their way out. It's not all that passive first off, you do interact at times during cutscenes but I would have been disappointed if they made the scenes short "press the corresponding button" kind of thing just to appease those who are too impatient to enjoy great storytelling. I'm glad Kojima is dedicated enough to his craft cause too many ...
I think you missed the point.
Hollywood is very aware of video games as the new money making medium. I was actually just reading a book on the same subject. This could mean more games with major budgets like MGS4 looking to repeat it's success now that it's clear how much money can be made even as an exclusive on the youngest console. It's an exciting time for video games.

You already admitted to not playing the game ever, and that you're judging it based on videos you've watched online... Is that how you judge games? You're judging among other things, graphics... from a second hand source video? Until you have the game on a high definition television, there's no way in hell you can judge the graphics, much less anything else. Not that that would make a difference to you anyway, you're a flaming fanboy. By the way, this game is more next gen than anything to date. This game would never have been remotely possible last gen and that's a fact. Wait let me guess, they could have, they just didn't want to.
Just goes to show you how subjective these reviews are... MGS4 is far and beyond Mario Galaxy as a game overall. But then again who am I to complain, it's probably gonna get top spot soon enough anyway, and regardless, anyone who plays it themselves will know how special a game MGS4 is... No offense to Mario Galaxy.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was another failed attempt to release the game. Personally, I don't like 3D Realms, they're arrogant and inconsiderate of their fans, who made them what they were. Saying "when it's done" as a release date for over 10 years. Even as of recently they've used the phrase "when it's done" as a release date... Come on guys...
