I am stoked for this game, I really enjoyed what I played of it on 360. I found myself kinda disappointed that there were no missions where you got to go in the water though... I really wanted to for some reason.
I think it wasn't as documented cause it wasn't as big a problem. I won't lie to you though, it sure chapped my ass when I missed the ending of FFIX cause my dvd drive crapped out. But hey, at least they fixed the problem, rather than just throw a warranty extension at it.
Microsoft only fixed them under warranty, and they had togo out of their way, it was to huge a problem, it's not like they jumped up and offered 3 year warranties, they did it cause they absolutely had to do something seeing as the systems were dropping like flies. And ps2 never had a failure rate near what 360 had, so it isn't fair to compare, if the size of the problems don't match why should the solutions...
I agree, and now with HD TV's becoming standard and cheaper, they're gonna be at the top of many a christmas list, and what's the cheapest hidef player out there? Exactly, so the bluray player alone should move masses of Ps3's this holiday season, add on the people getting it for the power house lineup of exclusives and you've got a f*ckin race for the top spot.
Not tryin to be a fanboy,. I realize both companies made mistakes, but for Microsoft, the company that made the biggest launch mistake of all, by releasing the system too early and now having the highest console failure rate in history (right?), not to mention no standard hdd, hddvd calling out Sony saying they made big mistakes in the beginning is pretty rich... I'm just sayin, people in glass houses....

I personally don't see it as that unlikely that FFVII could show up on PSN... there's enough time between now and FFXIII. Not a remake, just a downloadable version. They must know that everyone wants it, and to announce secret FFVII news just to tease their fans and then NOT give them what they want seems like a mistake to me. Maybe what this guy said was true, that that would generate outrage and shock which would still be good publicity, but to me that sounds like a long shot that they set...
This guy needs to chill the f*ck out, OBVIOUSLY the whole game isn't going to be the same one thing because the most recent trailer he saw wasn't different enough... this article is lame as hell, not even an article really. It's bethesda, they know a little better than that.... What a douche.
lol, do you have any idea how stupid you sound... honestly you really come off as a bitter fanboy, I mean honestly $50mil on extra GTA missions, or one of the most incredible looking games of all time (and KZ1, is not KZ2, believe it or not, things have changed since then). Why would it bother you personally how much time or money Sony spent on it... and you're right it shows that if alot of time is spent on a game, you get a better result, that's why games like MGS4 and KZ2 and LBP and GoW3 ...

I hope that list turns out to be accurate Rick, I would be so stoked if they hooked up some Heavy Rain footage. It's kind of a mystery so far, and I loved Omikron.
I don't know technically what I'm talking about, but if the Ps3 is coming out with the most impressive looking games than it can't be broken too badly. Their definition of broken is well... BROKEN!

I actually never called anyone a fanboy, that was you. I feel like all the time now people call fanboy this fanboy that... nobody can just have an opinion anymore without being a sony fanboy or vice versa. Granted they are around, but sometimes it's ok to have a discussion and to take a stance.

I read it plenty. If this place annoys you so much that all you can say is to complain, find something else to do. If all you can do is complain about peoples opinions in general, not being constructive or talking to any one person, just submitting a general complaint directed at anyone and everyone who has a certain opinion, you have nothing worth saying...
If SE does delay the Ps3 version for such a ridiculously long time, putting their main audience and loyal fans (and the Final Fantasy series clearly has some of the most loyal fans out there) second to a completely new audience and platform they haven't even begun development on, I won't have much faith left in the company... I hope they make the right call and release the game when it's ready. I don't have a problem with them deciding to port it to the 360, but the Ps3 version should no matt...
