I would say a mini van full of money, not a dump truck. Lol
Unless developed by Nintendo, they would loose a lot of the magic.
You can even see this in the unreal engine Zelda demos on YouTube, stunning graphics but most seem so...empty.
Even in 2022, when I see Zelda:WW, it's still pleasing on the eyes with a great sense of whimsical-ness.
Surgical,
I get what you are saying and agree that immersion can be important, but when we are talking about video games, I will argue that fun trumps all. I know "fun" is subjective to an individual so there is no one size fits all. We can go by what we see though, Nintendo games always receive the highest scores and tons of copies sold, and is generally agreed by word of mouth, this is not an effect of the low cost of entry, it's an effect of arguably the be...
Well said WiiU, because it's true.
What some people do is put their whole experience on graphics, I never understand it. I really like excellent visuals myself, but it's not the defining factor whether I'll play a game or not. Red Dead 2 was gorgeous but boring to me. Me and my Sons were playing Wave Race :BS on GC and were having so much fun.
There is a reason the Switch is selling and it ain't because of graphics...pure fun is what moves...
You just sold all the fun brother.
I get that the tech is not high-end, but they still manage to produce some good-looking games on the system but most importantly..super fun games.
You gonna miss Bayo 3.
I agree with most of what you said.....except that it's not to compete with GP.
Adding Ubisoft +, different tiers(too much imo), and clearly having pre-meditated answers to game pass oriented questions, which passively diss the competition.
Oh, it's meant to compete.
No one agrees with you, including me.
lol
@Notor
Exactly, I would argue and say the 'Most' imo.
Even their old games, my 21yr, and 12yr sons play them in 2022 and have a blast.
I like what you did there...
Last I checked it was like 76%.
"Saying mid 70s" makes the number seem lower. It's like a good marketing trick as well, $2.99 looks better than $3.00.
I swear Sony is just mimicking MS at this point.
But yes, MS rewards is amazing, I do the internet browsing using edge and bing, and try to do as much Xbox activity as possible. If Sony rewards is anything close to it I'm in for sure!
Nice line-up.
From being on N4G, and hearing their die-hard fans, I never thought I would see the day Sony starts paying for day 1 releases and promoting them in a sub-service.
I guess this is just the way the industry is moving, and I love it. It's just sad to see MS got lambasted for it. People thinking because they are not currently doing day 1 first-party games makes this huge difference are wearing blinders. The only real difference is that Sony ...
He is clearly comparing it to PS4, and there is no Xbox sku, hence only possible on PS5.
There is absolutely no doubt this game can run on PC and SX, hell even SS. People saying otherwise are reaching hard.
Blast processing anyone!
They have been super quiet for the greater part of the year. I love my Switch, but the buzz of Nintendo news has been weak, to say the least, I'm not sure they had a major problem in this department, it always pans out to rumors that 99% never happen. Switch PRO & Metroid trilogy is the only thing anyone talking about anyways.
It has some really nice graphical effects. I can't help but get a tech demo vibe from what I have seen. I personally don't think this game is on most peoples, most wanted list..but people are curious for sure.
I think Sony should push to get this day 1 in the premium PS+ tier.
While I agree that the game seems to favor magic, I beat the entire game as a Tank with Colossal weapons, once I got the Bull Armor I never took it off lol. I couldn't even use most of the summons as I barely had any FP.
My son who loves the souls' games was amazed that I actually beat it with my play style and tank set up, especially Melina.
BTW, It's the first sound game I have finished...I dabbled with DS2 but only play 1/2 way thru.
Of course, he played it 100 times.
After each death you respawn.
100 deaths =100 replays.
Forespoken was delayed.
I wasn't too hyped for this anyway, more curious than hyped.
But this is a perfect example of why people keep thinking games will be delayed.....because it keeps happening. there have been like 20-30 titles delayed so far.
Why would any gamer want this delayed? Day 1 for sure, I have to play the first one again to get ready.
I mean, with all the delays that have been happening industry-wide, you can't blame people for taking a wait-and-see attitude. The people that were being hateful to the devs are just ridiculous A-Holes with no life and first-world problems.
Anyway, I can't wait, my PS5 is ready... hope the photo mode is included again.
GOW 2, ...
I think I'll get it for $20 on SX. Looks fun and I will support the dev, maybe he can hire a team and make a full fledged game.
