That is not my point at all. My whole point is that a system can have a successful year as long as there are games to play. I just don't think exclusives is the end all be all, it's part of the cog.
It is apparent to anyone that Nintendo was the real winner of 2022 in terms of sales and Sony had the the best exclusive in GoW:RR(imo) , but it did not stop Xbox from selling well because of other factors. The "Xbox has no games" is a silly nonsensical blanket...

The problem with some hardcore gamers is that they live in a bubble, like N4G or other gaming sites. They often fail to realize that the larger portion of gamers doesn't care about a game dropping 2fps on one console over the other.
It's only talking to a hardcore crowd would they tell you that having SE or Capcom would be better than having Activison/Blizzard.

Please explain how I am a fanboy. I have not trashed any system, as a matter of fact, I own them all because I like games plain and simple. I have not attempted to trash Sony, MS, or Nintendo. I promise you if I thought any one of them sucked I would never ever spend my hard-earned cash on them, If I show you my game collection you would understand, every gen I buy consoles from the big 3...these are facts.

You are dense if you do not think they will be allowed to make any A/B game exclusive, CoD will be offered for 10 years, and let's say they agree to leave it on there indefinitely...MS rakes in billions of dollars from Sony, Nintendo, Mobile, and PC from one game. It will also be in GP which will 100% raise GP subs, furthering that 3 billion already made off GP.
