The game was great, with tons of action and explosions, it was like a 3d Contra done right.
I know it's not a Sony-developed game, but just going down memory lane a bit lol.
One of the biggest hurdles for VR imo is that you can't show someone how awesome it really is on a T.V or ads, they have to actually try it. I saw a Q2 commercial the other day with the iron man game and in no way would I have been sold unless I tried VR before.

I don't think MS will Catch up to Sony this whole gen, unless something miraculous happens. I personally think this a gen where MS actually competes and leave behind the Xbox one stain.
Strategy and some not liking them aside, they have already made a slight shift away from Xbox one it terms of presentation & message. Last gen was a hands down run-away for Sony on every level, from games, sales and presentation..current gen seems like there is an actual fight happen...

It's not an MS thing, almost all big tech and other industry companies do very similar layoffs. I love how people are acting as if when this happens, companies stop investing/buying/spending..lol , it's such a strange thing to think, I'm actually surprised to see people think layoffs or cuts would stop other endeavors of giant companies..it just doesn't work that way at all.
The headset looks great, and while I want the more robust nature that can come from PSVR2 games, I really want to be able to use it with my PC, and PC games. If Sony implements that at some point, I will have to jump in.
I like some of the smaller experiences on the Q2 like RE:4 VR and the SW Darth Vader trilogy, I mostly use it for PC games and applications....still amazed at Half-Life: Alex.
I like both SP and Multiplayer games, and I am a fan of my Xbox.

Well, the good thing is, they may still have the opportunity to put in on GP and PS+. The sales have slumped and getting people to play the game might be their best option right now.
Drop it in both sub-services, get a check from Sony and MS, get people who were on the fence to try it, retain some of those players, then sell the upcoming DLC to the people that like it, and create a bigger fan base for the next game.
An absolute blast! the game is still fun to this day.

I do agree that it's not scary, but it can still be tense if you play with an actual person, I never played it with AI.
So, while not scary, there are tense and memorable moments, on top of that, the gameplay is just really well done.
All I have to say is.....YES PLEASE!
I Love RE:5, Mercs is awesome, and the DLC was great.
My brother and I still play and were talking about doing the campaign again.
I own every system and play all games that I like, I am not missing anything.
My sometimes gripe is many of you ignore that Sony is no different than MS when it comes to attempting to make money.
