I love that this character is so iconic/well received. Sure, she's the definition of exaggerated beauty standards, but I was loving Tomb Raider games before I had even the slightest understanding of male vs female anatomy.
It doesn't make sense to have a 'themed' console for a remake. Now, when Halo 5 releases this Nov, /then/ will be when the themed console releases.
... I'm probably going to be a stupid consumer and buy one even though my current XO works just fine. ; -;

Where have you been for the past two years? It seems like all /anyone/ care about is resolution and frame rate... Either that or sales. -_-
*and if it doesn't keep the developer from working on new projects. This is what I like about how Microsoft/343 went with TMCC. Contract out X/Y/Z studios to remaster X/Y/Z game so that OP-developer can continue to work on new and exciting projects. That way we get titles like TMCC one year, and then get Halo 5 (after a 3 year dev-cycle) with no interruptions.

I agree, but I'd go deeper than just whether or not the story was good. Everything from the narrative to the character development to the universe/setting - it all can be inspirational.
But even then, it really depends on your definition of "inspire." For example, Halo 2 single-handedly inspired me to pursue Game Design as a legitimate career. I'm still working on it (3 years through university/1 year working on independent projects), but I have Halo 2/the O...

Ha, don't make me laugh... Sony has been living off hype, and the first AAA exclusive in 12 months is getting nothing but garbage preview impressions. Talk about hype.
