As soon as I get home, I am so uninstalling UDK3 and making the switch. I don't even care. I'll gladly relearn the lighting perimeters!
While I agree with you, it's more to do with respect for the publisher, rather than the developer.
And even then, releasing a review before the embargo lifts really only affects the relationship that the outlet/publisher have. Break embargo? Don't expect early access to the next title.
^ Clearly a dumbed-down version, but you get it. :)
Amy Hennig comes to mind...
COD sells whether you like it or not. Didn't know that equated to a brilliant game.
If you score a 65 OR a 68 in public school, you won't be allowed to progress until you improve. That is a FAILING grade.
Are games the same as grades? Of course not. But "average" ≠ "median" and you should know that if you made higher than a 65 or 68 throughout public school.
15:46 kinda spells out the crux of what's wrong with this video. He started off saying why everyone who disagrees with him is wrong, and closes with 'everyone who scored it a 6/10 or lower should be FIRED'...
Okay dude, so you liked the game, but guess what... That doesn't make it a fact, and your opinion can be thrown into the pile 2/10 - 9.5/10 that this game has received.
Called it XBO since Day One, and will continue. Fanboys will call it the Xbone until the next one comes out, and everyone else will call it either X1, XBO, XO, etc...
I never said Xbots couldn't be just as bad, but I also haven't seen the administrators tell everyone to cool it when there's a negative XO article.
Even if they aren't, it's hard to be any kind of disappointed with this rumor. Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinate, #IDARB, *AND* Rayman Legends?! That's a killer month!
If MS can keep this up, coupled with their recent weekly sales, "impressed" would definitely be the applicable word!
When the N4G admins have to step in to tell the Ponies to calm down, you know it's gone to far.
To be fair, and assuming you're going off genre comparisons instead of release-windows, The Order really shouldn't be put up against TMCC. TMCC, while amazing, is kinda comparing apples and oranges. Replace it with Ryse and then it'll be a little more comparable.
Excluding that example, great list. Thoroughly proves your point.
If done correctly, this could be awesome. For some reason, my mind immediately jumped to a comparison with Escape From Butcher Bay. I'm very much okay with this comparison.
A similar thing happened to my twin when we were 6. Our mother worked in an elementary school, so we would stay there after the students went home.
One day, an 'upper classmen' (5th grade) who's mother also worked there said he could get my brother's lvl 100 Blastoise (the very first Pokémon he ever raised to 100) to lvl 150... So brother traded his Blastoise to the kid so he could 'take it home and raise it.'
We never saw that Bl...

As someone who grew up on MS DOS & Nintendo, the hell are you on about?! The Game Cube is (so far) my favorite gaming console, with Super Mario Sunshine being one of my favorite games of all time behind Halo 2. The Game Boy Color is (so far) my favorite hand-held, with Pokémon Red & Gold being my two favorites. Does the fact that neither of these platforms (and none of these games) support achievements/trophies affect this decision?! Not at all.

Over 58% of reviews (as of this comment) give the game a 7≤ score. http://www.metacritic.com/g...
Noteworthy sites/scores:
Game Informer - 78
IGN - 65
The Escapist - 60
Destructoid - 60
Polygon - 55
Gamespot - 50
Giant Bomb - 40
Digital Trends - 20
If anything, getting all the Achievements/Trophies does nothing but /add/ life to a game that certain gamers would have otherwise already moved on from. Hell, I picked up Premium for Battlefield 4 over the holiday (went on sale) and the added Achievements/Trophies is the only reason I did this.
I was (basically) done with BF4 at that point, but the new Achievements/Trophies (+ new maps and whatnot, obviously) breathed fresh life into the game.
Does this mean ...
We all know that how many bubbles you have has little to do with how much sense you make, and is instead mostly left up to whether or not the N4G hive mind agrees with you.
Clearly there are outliers to this "rule," but they are few and far between.
Noble effort. 7.3/10
@Moldiver
I've been following speed runs for years. Namely Casmo and Monopoli. Hell, even /I/ have put a little effort into speedrunning over the past few years.
