Bah, I don't know if Gran Turismo 6 came out on time but definitely remember waiting in an inexorable period for GT5! Maybe I'll just get the PS3 for now as they've been updated so much with content and bug fixes since release. Thanks though.

Holy shiz, that looks awesome I've been majorly tempted to rebuy a PS3 cheaply for GT5/GT6 uncharted etc. Trouble is I'd like a PS4 sometime too as they're getting quite cheap on eBay, when's GT sport due for release??

What the heck, it looks worse to my eyes then GT6 and like a late PS3 Beta.

I suppose I was talking from the pc gaming perspective which may admittedly have been inaccurate, definitely so in fact, I game on Xbox One but not for a couple of months and had in fact forgotten how seamless integration of access was.

Yes and no, steam was revolutionary, origin then felt derivative, uplay was painful and seemed extremely unnecessary. I would hate to see every major publisher doing that to gaming in general.

This looks so good!! I haven't been this excited since the pre release hype of battlefield 3.

I believe the publisher and developer will likely keep the game pre order exclusive to boost sales initially. Its a smart move in the business sense.

I've played it more and more and I'm in two minds about it now, occasionally matches are close but usually 5-1 or 7-1 in point difference. Obviously some elements are unbalanced, the shotgun doing obscene damage at some kind of mythical 'mid range' that a select few players know about being one of the most offensive.

It seems interior to Halo Combat Evolved, to me Halo had tight paced fluid levels, hard hitting weapons and legendary choke points. Doom 3 and Qu...

I love it, excellent graphics, perfect control, fast paced, smooth and responsive, the first, fps I've played in years where I haven't had to adjust controls to my liking. Well worth the legendary wait, the guns are very satisfying and have a nice heft to them.

It immediately slapped me as the spiritual successor to Quake 3/4 both of which I loved. For me it's an essential purchase.

Very well for the most part, only played Judgement in single player so far and Gears 3 in Horde, some dips here and there but nothing outrageous.

That's hilarious, I finally got my WiFi to load up the video LMFAO. What's wrong with people!? It looks worse then Gears of War 2, I bet this video is freaking ancient, seriously how does anyone credibly believe it would look like that??? Unbelievable.

I recently started playing Gears of War 3 again via the download codes included with the Gears redux, I'm really surprised by how good it still is, technically or otherwise horde mode is a riot.

Absolutely stunned by how good Judgement looks having never played it before, I do no myself realistically imagine Gears of War 4 would look or run worse than either of those three titles especially in light of the breakthroughs with Xbox One development in the meantime.

Farcry 3 was way past what the ageing last generation consoles could cope with, kind of like how they had to utilise new technology to get Half Life 2 on to the original Xbox and uses Cry Engine 3 to get Crysis onto PS3 and 360. I think its amazing that the game (FC3) ran at all last generation.

Wouldn't a 2k boost make the most sense, surely then only a marginally increase in hardware, production and retail costs would accrue with games then having 1080/2k resolution options, plus 2k monitors are available quite cheaply.

Surely no game is perfect anyways, let's be honest with ourselves. Even the games I love the most have flaws, of course they are drastically over shadowed by the positive but I'm still aware of them.

I love Killing Floor Two but loath the Z time mechanic, the slow motion completely disrupts the flow of the otherwise smooth and very fast paced game play, almost any time or die or take a real beating is when Z time has thrown me off kilter. If only I could disable it so...

Damn it I haven't even played Dark Souls 1 yet! Stop making these games!? Haha

Sounds good, a comprehensive and well written review without spoiling the games story elements.

I should have edited in time, doh! Wolfenstein was a great game but the lack of anti aliasing was really bad, it hurts my eyes on a large modern hdtv. I love battlefield 4 but again the texture filtering and lack of AA on console, my pc is quite old mostly can still 9/10 times produce much better graphics then console. I suppose I am a little gutted, from a purely visual stand point this may be the least progressive generation of hardware, I suppose it was inevitable though.

I think its a terrible idea for Sony and Microsoft. There's not that many 1080p native games on either system and I couldn't believe how jarring the texture pop in and lack of filtering was on GTAV, 4k my ass, how about even getting 900p/1080p native to begin with.

I thoroughly enjoyed it (Resident Evil 6) for the most part and found myself quite happily enjoying Jake, Chris and Leons campaigns. Ada's campaign was for me diabolical to the extent I could not bare longer than about five minutes haha, the graphics were astounding at the time, will look lovely at 1080p60 especially if Resi 5 pc is anything to go by.

I loved the mercenaries mode also. Definitely the best with the extremely smooth controls and freedom of movement, I did n...
