I have to admit the news of this coming over got me poking around youtube, I think it looks great and can't wait.
Left 4 Dead 2 on PC is still exceptional and I've been meaning to buy Dead Rising 3 for aeons, also looking forward hugely to Resi 0 HD. Who doesn't love a good zombie game?
Well on PC there's the very newly released and excellent Resident Evil Ultimate HD Edition.
All the content ever from the later versions of Resi 4 and an enormous boost to graphics bringing it bang up to date. I'm playing on 32" 1080p screen at 1600x900, 30fps and it looks gorgeous.
My overclocked 2010 behemoth can't run her any better and I'm not a huge fan of slide shows. I've got aload of anti aliasing and anisotropy running to boo...
Better not play Wolfenstein the old blood then on either system, awesome game but the small amount of occasional jaggies destroys the games then, I guess...
You want super sampling 2k/4k, 16x anisotropy and 8x anti aliasing to go with?
That's called personal computer or PC for short and costs significantly more than consoles.
The resolution "debate" trolling would be more accurate in my eyes, it is as amusing as it is flawed. Last time I checked no current generation games were running at 640x480.
Case in point: Battlefield Hardline, a mediocre entry for the series but hey it runs at a slightly higher resolution on Playstation 4 so now it's the bestest FPS ever conceived and the 'bone sucks etc.
Back to reality-if Battlefield Hardline ran at 1080p on PS4 and Kill...
The IGN packs are, to the best of my knowledge, put together utilising player feedback from the site and other resources.
Although Halo the MCC did launch with bugs (mostly in multiplayer, specifically finding matches etc) I loved how they handled the graphics and frame rate in single player. I'm not a die hard Halo fan but have generally enjoyed the series, it was delightful to brush up on the old adventures with a lick of fresh paint and super smooth control. Combat was thrilling again and it really got me excited for the fifth game, I even had some good times online.
It's like when you desperately needed to bring Cloud back fighting a Weapon in Final Fantasy 7 and in the heat of the battle accidently alot it to a team mate who's currently alive, then, are are decimated.
Great, thanks. Mucho appreciato.
Lmfao......sorry I do not intend to disrespect your point of view, although I did admittedly laugh out loud upon reading.
Midnight Club Street Racing (the original) was and I believe still is exclusive to Playstation 2, is it heralded, cherished and beloved in the annals of gaming history just because it was exclusive?
Is any exclusive game on any platform ever by default incredible because of exclusivity?
Nope.
GTA Vice City...
Haha what a strange controller, can't believe I used to suffer that back in the day. I played Perfect Dark for almost six months straight as a kid on N64.
I'm sure it is, years of delays though and it launched broken. I remember waiting for it on 360 prior to the then next gen reveals.
Genuine question as I'm not really very knowledgeable around kickstarter. The only two images I have in mind are Ouya and Project Cars, I'd hardly call either a rip roaring success.
Can it work? Are there prime examples?
My Wii won't connect online!
Rofl, classic. You could order a pizza and watch a movie, invite someone round perhaps?
Or just Netflix it.
I found an absolute whopper of a bug, a great whale, the one where Gears 2 and 3 were not also playable
Some people died watching Knock Off the 1998 JCVD movie, possibly.
On topic, a concern of sorts- psychological damage, there are always some who are more easily influenced and I believe this is a very different experience then simply watching a film. Games have only really had an extremely realistic level of fidelity in the last few years and as such I believe there's no long term research?
Because the games and feature set kicked ass, it wasn't until 2010 that I felt the playstation 3's games, user interface and feature set matured enough to appeal to me.
Lol, well you are of course entitled to your opinion. Mine is that if the 360 wasn't freaking awesome I wouldn't have put up with that, lets put it another way I wouldn't have suffered half a dozen Gamecubes breaking down as that system did very little for me.
I had 5/6 fail between early 2006/2007 but all were replaced for free so I didn't care that much. I don't remember any failing on me from 2008 onwards. I still had a kickass time playing, Gears, Rainbow etc.
A few early PS2's gave me grief, by the time I bought a PS3 it was 2010 and a new slim so probably any issues were long since ironed out.
Oh wells, they can always patch it later later haha j/k
I don't remember any issues with the campaign frame rates even before MCC was fixed so in my eyes a slide show scenario is unlikely.
