They didn't have very different leadership, they HAD the lead. That aside both companies have at different times done thing that isn't in the players best interest. MS with the always on, Sony with the EA Access (which some people still defend which is just dumb), and both have agreed and disagreed on this at different times.
There are far better games no doubt. But the game has some great things going for it. What is it that you dont like about the game? I mean you keep bringing up Remedy but whats so bad about QB?
The issue if talking about video games can have issues worth mentioning; is that FIFA 17 is on a different Engine and looks VERY different than FIFA 16. So its a difficult comparison.
I'm just about to beat QB for the second time and man that game is great. The powers are awesome to use and have great effects, the setting is interesting, the story telling is unique, and the graphics are good. The game has its issues as all games do but people (read X1 haters) have blown it way out of proportion. The live cut scenes are expertly produced and acted. I saw one corny thing happen and thats it.

Thats the thing I don't enjoy CoD for the most part. I like Sci Fi though so this gets me going. I completely agree with you. This is just like Rockband. The devs talk about how awesome and new everything is. But were just going through the motions at this point. And Activison is just racking in the dough and they dont care if the franchise were to die as long as they have a replacement.

I don't know how "Pre-Alpha" the stress test was. I've seen lots of games show off pre-alpha and it seems way to complete to be pre-alpha. And if the build is 2 months old are you trying to say Respawn went from pre-alpha to on the verge of going gold in 2 months?
If CoD does it TF shouldn't. To me and I played the heck out of TF1 (still do to some degree) they need to just build upon what made that game great.
A lot of the people are saying how much they love TF2 (and thats fine) but I'm very unsure how many of the people saying that played the first TF.
I have to beat QB again before I start it but CAN NOT WAIT. Feel free to tell us more about why you like it.
Ive played over 1000 games of FIFA 16 and to ME they have made meaningful changes.

The question I have for the people saying how awesome TF2 is "Did you play the first one?" And I don't mean for 5 minutes.
From the first trailer to the the tech test I thought oh my gosh this is just like CoD. And sue enough it is. The thing about the timer was so that no just the dominate got to have something cool. I played the crap out of TF one because it was different. And TF2 seems just like CoD.
They sent out invites to those who play, my guess, a lot. I play 30 games a week for 5 years now and I got one.

Man you're all over this thread. So I'm going to follow you,down the rabbit hole. Is today 2007? No it's TODAY so what Sony did years ago should only matter because it just goes to show that competition is,super important. When MS had the lead they said no, now Sony does and they say no. Odd.
The thing is if Sony pioneered this why would they say no now? MS is in so since Sony are the gaming good,guys and "had the bridge built" why say no???
