I've watched a fair amount of Ghost Recon footage. Perhaps I've missed it but have they shown how tactical the SP gameplay is? I've seen lots of Co-op GP which looks fun but I want to know if the new game is as tactical as the original.
On a side note, no one, zip, zilch, zero people talk like the people in these trailers do. "we have a tango is sector 4, prepare to engage on my command" That type of talk in these trailers to ME makes the trailer super...
You're 100% right. All the clamoring and demand for the highest fidelity visuals possible with 4K being the current pinnacle and the thing most demanded and now all of a sudden no one wants it, or has a TV (nor wants a TV) capable of playing it.
Its not like you can buy a 4K tv for $900...oh wait
Its like this is an article about a MS product...oh wait
Its not like BOTH consoles manufactures are coming out with consoles that are goi...
@Sparta
They know no more about controllers than anyone who games on a regular basis. I mean are you really trying to use that as evidence?
You don't know me but I'm very particular about my stuff. You dont have to defend the controller its a little flimsy. Besides the fact the sticks are slippery, the battery life even with the updates PAILS in comparison the the X1, and its not as comfortable in my hands (clearly my opinion). Thats not even to ...
@Dragon
To me thats a very different kind of RPG. Challenge is all well and good, but I play RPGs to focus on the character and how they grow as you progress through the story. BB to ME is like me fighting 10 MMA fighters in a house I've never been in before...in the dark. Not my style.
On a side note to say BB is better than 3 of the most beloved games in the past 10 years (Mass effect, Witcher, Diablo) is a little aggressive.
@Sparta
My DS4 is not a day one and the top and bottom pieces don't line up, and the rubber is coming off the sticks. Its not even my primary console, I only use it for exclusives. As far as gaming journalists go most will admit they aren't the best gamers. So them saying they prefer either is like a kid who just got his licence saying which car he likes better.
Again the DS4 is the best controller Sony has ever made but its not as good as the X1 ...
It doesn't feel cheap in general, just in comparison to the X1 controllers. The PS4 controller is the best controller Sony has ever made. Though it still trails in comparison. to the X1 regular controller and far behind the elite.
HAHA well said
The witcher 3
Mass Effect 2
Diablo 3
Never winter nights
If we can include light RPG games I would also say RoTR. I'm very western RPG. I cant get into JRPGS.
Things are getting a little out of hand on this pricing. This should be $40. I mean its a 5 year old game.
The future has always been bright. I've played and loved all the DR series. DR3 had the most fun co-op I've played in a game. It was a blast.
I started this game again for the second time at the beginning on June as my summer game. I've been so through that I dont know if Ill have the game beat by the end of august. With the DLC its crazy big.
The gameplay mechanics and customization of Snake were spot on. Outside of that the game was not good. I was so confused when I kept going to the same 4-5 places over and over and over and over again. I'm serious, I thought I was doing something wrong, or was accidentally replaying the same missions over again.
Ive played every major MGS console game ever released and MGS 5 was the first game I never finished.
Because UC can do NOTHING wrong and TR can do nothing right. This whole comment section is pathetic.
I disagree. How does that tickle you? I think the UC series is what it is today because of the acting and set pieces. When you come across the Submarine in the middle of an island I was instantly hooked.
Its a fantastic game but In my opinion other games have done similar things better. They really focused on graphics at the cost IMO of gameplay.
I didn't think it was a very epic game. It was a solid 8 but the story was lack luster, and the constant climbing got old. The acting and set pieces were masterful but no more so than the other games. And the action and gunplay were very good but stale as again it's the same as the other games. I know I'm going to catch nothing but hell for this on N4G as some ppl here can't look at things objectively.

@TheColbert
Thats your prerogative. But if I may be so bold as to tell you by not owning a PS4 you are most definitely missing out on some great games. And some on this site would call me an X1 fanboy. So thats saying something.
Good for him. I personally believe if you don't have both consoles you're missing out. And if you do it for reasons of the fanboy war you're just a moron.
So him buying an X1 to ME is a no brainier. I am just correcting his first statement is that not ok? On top of the fact I wasn't rude or disrespectful.
Well the pre-order numbers are apparently huge. So I don't think "unlike most" is an accurate statement.
Do you remember X6 with Mass effect? I think that was X6 Everyone was completely blown away
