its not about playing angry birds, or any game in fact, if i wanted a device purely for playing games, i would stick with the consoles i already have. i certainly wouldnt buy a wiiu, there is nothing worth playing on it.
but the fact remains, if i had 250 to blow, i certainly wouldnt buy a wiiu. id rather buy a smart phone with the money

a smart phone can do a lot more. its not just a games cons...
i think i'd rather blow £250 on a smart phone than a wiiu.
it can quite simply be canned.
a lot people had to petition to get xenoblade released in the west. and in america it was given a very limited release. this is on the wii, one of the most successful games consoles... ever.
so what hope does X have of making it outside of japan? little to no hope, since the wiiu is a flop.
obviously i want the game to be released in the west, as xenoblade was amazing, but lets be realistic..

the living dead. not all zombies are infected with the T virus, or some other outbreak. some zombies can be possessed by a demon straight out of hell, for example. so, they will break out their coffin and dig themselves out of their grave.

but nintendo will find a way to ride it to the finish line
an eternal darkness re-imagining... sort of like how they did resident evil on the gamecube. that is how you sell systems. that is how you get core gamers.
but of course, nintendo wont do it. they will let the licence expire, then announce game & wario 2.

nintendo forgot who they are and where they came from. they now think they are a games developer who makes games for mobile phone, hence the relentless wave of shallow mini games collections and party games.
nintendo forgot that to sell a console you need deep, immersive and ambitious games. ie all the games they are refusing to publish- metroid, starfox, f zero, earthbound etc

how long do we have to wait for this big game from retro? if they are only just recruiting then we are talking about a game that probably wont be in the stores until christmas 2015 or 2016. far too late.
