i remember i went into a game shop to buy an RGB cable for my wii (before i had a tv with a component input) and the guy told me the RGB cable would give me absolutely no upgrade in visual quality over the standard cable. I told him it would- i used RGB cables on every computer since dreamcast, and the quality at the time was the best you could get.
Anyway, got home, and low and behold, the rgb did vast...

in the wiiu version, every human character has their entire body anatomy (down to blood cells) rendered in real time. thats every bone, every muscle, every strand of hair, every micro organism rendered in real time. This helps to create a sense of realism in the wiiu version above and beyond the ps3/360 versions.

lol i got to be honest, i see this news and get really drawn into the arguement. i even start to feel a bit annoyed at nintendo..
but then, i remember its not all about the graphics. its not all about polygon pushing speed or resolution count. its all about the games. i think many here have got it twisted and simply lost their way.

no need to splash out on £1000 tv sets for 3d gaming. heck, maybe you could even watch 3d movies and other 3d content on the screen via netflix etc.

i may be stupid but i dont even know what the bother is with all this hard drive space talk. i mean, the original wii had zero space, didnt it? yes. did that hamper the consoles ability to play or enjoy games? Well, i own one and can answer that- no.

what nintendo should have done is made the worlds most advanced video games device ever.
they should have made a custom chip with amd radeon that has graphics tech at least 25 years ahead of what is on the market.
They should have used every last penny of their companies muti-billion dollar assets to make the most advanced console ever.
