especially as a gamer who dreamed of being in the industry, went the creative path and hasn't got anywhere near the industry. so to be 'outdone' by somebody who has absolutely no interest in games... that sucks
well, the ps3 is unlocked, but do i own any import games? no. and blu ray movies are region locked anyway, so it makes no difference to me.
only the very avid gamer imports games nowadays. its not like the early 90s where big games dont get released in the west.
its only certain editions that will only get released in a specific region. hardly worth not considering buying a console over
it wasnt cheap either, so it was to my dismay that it was a miserable, miserable game.
i have not played a monster hunter game before, but that holds no bearing on the games quality. i mean, had i not played a zelda game before i played ocarin of time, would that matter? no, because a good game is a good game.
in my opinion, monster hunter is trash.
and dont get me wrong, i didnt play it for 10 mins then give up- i have at least put 6 hrs int...
the game had no real sense of place, with little sections being loaded at a time.
plus the game was incredibly slow and clunky
its just plain boring.
its the only game in a very long time i bought on the strength of reviews and totally regretted it.
i wont be making the same mistake again.

casual gamers might be 'fooled' by a pseudo wiiu via ps3+vita. but real gamers and the industry will know its just sonys desperate and frankly pathetic attempt to steal nintendos thunder.
all it would do it put wiiu on a higher pedestal and make it beyond doubt that nintendo are the market leaders.
it would also hammer the death nail in vitas coffin, seeing as sony can only find a use for it as a quasi-wiiu controller for ps3 users. lame
and its SKU blitz on the market proves it. it proves sony doesn't know what the market wants, and doesnt have the confidence to put out 1 product, so instead saturates the market with dozens of skus.
the superslim doesn't put anything right. its still too expensive. its more expensive than the ps3 slim, which is ridiculous. the whole idea of putting out a new model should be to make the product more appealing. but with that price tag, they have shot themselves in the ...

i watched a bit of a gameplay video on youtube and i notice how much space you have to maneuver :l even indoors the corridors seem really wide.. sort of destroys the claustrophobia of the first games

always loved the style of this game. but it was too mature for me at the time.. literally- i didnt know how to play it lol
this will be a great way to actually experience the game. plus it looks even better than i remember, and even in my memory it looked amazing
yes, something more natural looking. like the kirby epic yarn game... or even wario shake.
the style of the 'new super mario' games doesn't absorb you, they look.. computer generated. as opposed to cartoony/anime/stylish. which i think would be a better look for mario.
nintendo have dropped the ball on this one. i may buy it just for the collection but, it is a missed opportunity.
they could have showcased their new consoles graphics capability.
