nintendo need to make new ips. everyone on earth who lives outside of a cave is familiar with mario. why must we be saturated with mario games?
we know mario, we know his story, we know his friends, we know his freaking music. mario has been explored. no, lets be honest, mario has been exhausted.
what we need is new ips.
i think its a cop out for nintendo, because it means they dont have to take risks, they dont have to use any creativity w...
backwards compatibility was never the standard.
the snes wasnt backwards compatible. nor the megadrive, n64, etc
sony were the first to offer it as a feature. a feature which many appreciated, because it meant their old games were not made obsolete by new tech.. they could simply play them on the new console.
so to phase out backward compatibility and say we are moving forward... that is bs, and just blind fanboyism. we should DEMAND backward...
how tunes change. hilarious!
was anyone expecting anything but a full retail price?
all nintendo games come at full retail price. the only time they release game at a budget price is when they do a platinum/classic series (re-releases of major games on the same console)etc
this game will be worth the full price.
if the price is steeper than usual, its probably because of the costs involved in working with new tech and the cost of the new medium (essentially a bluray dis...
lol pretty ironic seeing as he has been making the same mario game with different backgrounds for the last 20 years
funny how sony fans turn up in droves to applaud pachter when he slates the wiiu and says it will be a failure, but then say hes an idiot when he slates the vita.
all it needs is clever marketing
clever marketing can sell shit, so im sure it can sell a game of such high caliber
lol when was the last time nintendo delivered at e3? 1996?
i think wiiu is in trouble if im honest. it has absolutely nothing going for it at the moment. nothing. mario bros wiiu, thats all. and that isnt very good
its going to be at least september before a game worthy of buying the wiiu for is out.
what the hell were nintendo thinking.
if nintendo does flop with the wiiu, its only their own fault.
i have had every nintendo console but even i have not bought a wiiu
sony fans are getting ahead of themselves with excitement and could well be left feeling like wiiu fans if microsoft come with something even more powerful than ps4
digital downloads only limit you. its not beneficial to you, only the distributor/supplier.
the only plus side to dd is it saves physical storage space. ie you dont have to have plastic cases littered everywhere.
besides that, you are robbed of true ownership of your purchase.
as we speak, miyamoto himself is at the wiiu production factory, stood beside the conveyor belt as assembled wiius pass by, his hand on the 'emergency stop' button, his thumb just moments away from pressing the button and halting all production of wiiu.
its also snowing in hell
the wiiu IS a next gen console capable of visuals far beyond what last gen (ps3/360) consoles could deliver. nintendo fans know this. black ops 2 didnt display that.
and now activision want to bitch?
maybe they should have delivered a game beyond what ps3/60 could deliver, then nintendo fans would have been more enthusiastic.
instead they lazily delivered a port, with no optimisation.
of course wiiu owners arent interested! s...
hopefully this will end all the bs articles
it was also a gamble.
i remember the time when it was bluray vs hd dvd
i remember the day news broke that bluray won
just because 4k advanced tech, doesnt mean it will become the standard
its because they realise some of us want to play in new ways. not just play the same way again only with updated graphics *coughPS4cough*
nintendo is a genuinely innovative company. that should be applauded
all that matters is nintendo have the devs that count.
its just getting those devs to make the games that count.
such as grand theft auto.
i have said it before and i will say it again, if no port of the latest gta isnt announced for wiiu at e3, nintendo will once again be seen as a failure by the 'hardcore'
we need metal gear solid and final fantasy too.
nintendo made a big mistake with that.
its a great idea to use two screens, dont get me wrong, but at that cost, its just not realistic.
they should have invested more in the tech inside the console, not cripple it because of the controller.
oh well
almost like windows 8
looks great
