It would be epic, and incredibly challenging -- if they wanted to step away from games like MUA1/2, and try to make a MCU RPG. One Challenge is being able to alternate the characters that players could use, most RPG have a vocal character that helps give the narrative some foundation. Right now Square Enix is developing an Avengers game, I wonder how wide the cannon will be for that particular story.

I slightly (only slightly) disagree - yes the movies/universe they are attempting to make are not working, and I believe the tone of their movies is not the cause. Character development/cohesion are a huge issue for DC/WB right now. They were wrapping up Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, meanwhile Marvel was already introducing us to the Avengers (which was a 4 year journey). DC tried to play catch-up and nothing was really ever fleshed out.

Difficult for me to decide, my love for Spider-Man as a comic book character overrides my love for GoW as a game and therefore creates a little bias. I did not 100% GoW, but I did 100% Spider-Man.

I can only speak from personal experience and observation (bias) -- If I wanted to use a keyboard and mouse I would be playing on my PC, especially with cross-platform play. Unless of course someone really liked using their pc/mouse and find it cheaper to invest in a console.

You made your point while also delivering a counter-point. The career mode has become a grind in all aspects of the game mode. Why is it more of a grind now than before? -- because they want you to invest in VC. Furthermore, I am not arguing against the ability to buy VC, go ahead, put your money into that black-hole.
My issue is that sports game have lacked ingenuity/advancement in other game mode because the focus is geared towards what drives the most post-launch profit....

This game is beautiful and engaging. I beat the Main Story this past Sunday, and I have been playing every night since-then trying to 100% the game. The last game I 100% completed (or even attempted to) was Mass Effect 2. I originally bought my Playstation for MLB the Show.
