Yes...that's what its all about - Xbox X users feeling good about their purchase. After having the system for this long...finally I can stop feeling so foolish about my purchase. *sighs* ...redemption ... Red Dead Redemption.
The game looks absolutely incredible on the Xbox X -- there are times where I really marvel at the environment that we get to play in. With that said, I would enjoy the game on my Playstation 4 (and its not a pro). At this point, the resolution in games (4k or not) look amazing. I played Spider-Man and was also blow away by Insomniac's New York. 4k is a cool feature, its not worth rubbing in when talking about playing games. Just game, love games, and love gamers no matter the system or r...
In some ways I understand the authors view of the game. I can remember being 17, playing Mass Effect for the first time; it only last 2.5 hours. It was way too much for me to handle at the time. I waited about year, and came back to it after reading up on the game and its mechanics. Taking-time away and coming back to it really helped -- its now my favorite trilogy in gaming.
RDR2 is overwhelming to start, and takes some learning -- I was foolish and spent money on resource...
Ya'know, I really am not feeling all that terrible about the "work conditions" that have been discussed over the last two weeks. I am a teacher, One brother is a manager for a power/cooling team, another a CPA, and my third brother works in analytic data -- 4 fields that are somewhat different, and I have to tell you: Everyone has crazy work schedules, everyone goes through the crazy crunch, and everyone puts in more hours than they are supposed to -- Game Developers are no exce...
assumptive journalism is the best kind of journalism right?
**really do not want to spoil anything**
I would give it a 7, maybe even a 6/10. The story of the DLC was way too short for me, making the dramatic elements seem half-baked. I had fun while doing it, but I also have fun just swinging around the city fighting crime. For me, I have to wait until I see the overall-arch of the DLC story. The activities were fun, I just wasn't into the drama that the story was attempting to produce, especially when you compare it to the mai...
I am sorry everyone rejected you in high school.
As someone who is in huge support of the inclusion of female characters (mostly because it should not be that big of a deal to gamers), I have to say that their inclusion is the tip of the tip of the iceberg -- probably even smaller than that. EA simply is not trusted by the consumer, and its a valid feeling when you look at the past decade (probably last 2 decades) -- going back to online passes, them destroying Mass Effect, BF4 not working and really even BF3 trying to cater to the COD fan ...
Would It be nice if there was more than 2-3 hours, sure, and the "ending" to the main story is not meant to be wrapped up in a few short hours, not even the 6-8 that the entire DLC collection will most likely offer. Really, think about the events within in the last hour of the game, and their consequences...you really want all of that to be summed-up and put into a small package that you would need to pay additional for -- versus additional side stories to add depth to what is alrea...
There is humor in your statement -- keep up the good work.
For so many reasons, I love this game.
Oh no! It's two discs! I guess I'll just have play the game anyway? I mean is this really news worthy? I just threw 9tds with Baker Mayfield in Madden, and we are reading this story instead...smh....

Naive assumption? this article is in response to the communities naive assumptions about how women would be included in Battlefield V...
A community of gamers who talk about world history as thought they know it well, when in reality they never did any reading or research outside of their high school US History course?
Um...women were apart of the European resistance, and were snipers for the Russians too; I suggest you brush-up on your history before applying your foot to your own mouth -- hard to hear your muddled thoughts on realism while your munching on your shoelaces.
I feel pretty comfortable about my stance and analysis of the gaming communities overall behavior. You keep spouting hot-air, I appreciate the false sense of confidence that backs it.
Sure, blame the developers because of C-Level board meeting bullshit to obtain as much of the all-mighty dollar as possible. The game would have been fine if EA hadn't gone full-throttle on in-game purchases that directly tied into game play experience.
Good, stand your ground on this one -- though it is pretty pathetic on the gaming communities part to get up-in-arms over females in a (WWII) video game. Then again, we are talking about the same people who cried "graphic downgrade" when there were less puddles in Spider-Man. I suppose this is what happens when a group of socially inept, depressed individuals play paper-tiger to spew their racist and sexist remarks in online forums.
Add more women in games, have t...
The author of the article is neglecting publisher/creator intent. Minecraft was never intended to give heart-pounding nor a thought inspiring story. Minecraft succeeds at what its purpose is/was, for people to create worlds/games of their own. The open world games have multiple intentions; you can simply be in the sandbox...kill a hooker, take back your money, and lift a 5 * wanted a level. You can play the story-line, or both. Open world gaming is not meant to ride on the track of a story e...
Double-edged sword - communities get upset when they feel like developers are pumping out the same story-based game year after year. Is there a finite number?

Guys, please reread what I wrote - I own an Xbox X and I'm playing RDR2 on my Xbox X. I was commenting on how ridiculous the OP sounds. I appreciate your support for the Xbox X, I love it too and the games is very pretty.
